I was looking for an item to add to my foundation purchase to reach the £40 spend in order to receive the free gifts as posted by rudie111 and decided to buy this men's grooming kit for a last minute valentines gift. Was originally £45 and contains a full size face wash (£16.50 to buy on own), a full size face scrub (£20), a full size spf moisturiser (£25) and an eye gel sample. Thought this was a great price for the set.
Searched before posting and noticed this was previously posted by LazyJesus when £30 but now even better that it's down to £22.50. Free delivery. Hope it helps someone!

Plus if you spend over £40, codes POP or CHUBBY get you a free deluxe mini trio of highlighter, mascara and moisture surge, plus either a mini chubby stick lip balm or mini lipstick depending on the code you use from these two.

Is the moisturiser not good? Mainly bought for that, although the facewash lasts ages, and the scrub has ace reviews. Is the moisturiser greasy?

Not sure but I think there is a live chat customer services on the clinique website. Maybe they would be able to help you check out or identify what the problem is?

This is an honest question. What's the difference between this and a mainstream Simple or Neutrogena face wash and moisturiser?

design, packaging and branding.the face scrub is good but the wash an moisturizer is no better than standard imho.

I didn't like the Mens Face skin wash at all over the various mens soap - too harsh. It has changed twice and its still crap. Overpriced crap.
M-Lotion was a thinner and more expensive than Dramatically Different moisturiser from the woman's range, much better than the Mens excluding the current oil/pore control one - for pores was great, oil ? don't really suffer it apart from occasions but I think it gave me a more 'matt' appearance, but so did Garnier Oil Control Complete at 1/5th the price if you have oily skin. Def good for pore reducing after a few days if you have large pores.
Dram Diff at TJ Hugues is 125ML for £25.00.
Use the mens soap with the moisturiser and you see a difference, the old mens 'regular' yellow soap is now obsolete - the newer mens one can cause dry patches/peeling if you have good/sensitive/un-oily skin so just buy the light yellow woman's one(s) and move up to the men's strength if needed, I have one mens soap I have had for 3 years I use occasionally if oily (usually winter indoors or hairline excessive sweat = oil) just let it dry out after use with lid off.
Removal of the 4 of the men's different strength scruffing lotion (clarifying), soaps & moisturiser products trying to streamline MENS was a mistake in my opinion. It now really is a one size fits all, but that works for marketing to Mr Average (whoever the F he is :laughing: ) did not work for me, womans soap & moisturiser, the after shave lotion is on par with Loreal Men Expert Post Shave Balm - and if you need to use stuff like this post shave you are shaving too fast or close via pressure or both (guilty of both in the past).
Use a cheap shave oil & take it slowly (1mm a second, SLOWLY!) - time (not foam) with a old school razor and brush. Multi blades and rushing make the need for all these 'moisturisers' and post healers - make time for a VERY SLOW shave in the morning or night before.
Vaseline moisturiser is all you need after a shave. Even a bit of water on shaved area & then miniscule of Vaseline (less is more) rubbed in.
Or get over it and do as I now, buy clippers and have a shadow  I'm not a boy so why would I attempt to shave and look like one ?:laughing::laughing:

Great find. I was after some face scrub (which was almost the same price for that alone).
