Yeah I really don't get some of the changes. You can't say blackboard and apparently baa baa black sheep is now rainbow sheep. You actually get black sheep, I don't understand...

Nah, unfortunately they say "chalkboard" in my kids school too. I actually had a debate with the headmistress about it.
See the use of the term "black spot" for a place where there are plenty of accidents is potentially offensive, but calling something black that actually is black, or white when it is white, is not offensive, it's just flipping descriptive!
Not that there's many blackboards or whiteboards left, they're mostly smart boards.
Anyway, these are ace for the price, just grabbed a couple. Heat!

I have a five year old and this little piggy no longer has roast beef...he now has roast leeks for fear of offending vegetarians. The black sheep thing has been stopped in a lot of schools for whatever reason. Personally thinks it's utterly ridiculous but it's happening

There are people surrounding your child singing baa baa black sheep 24/7? I think this is a case for social services

I'm thinking of posting a cracking deal on straight bananas. Discuss.
I bought one of these about a year ago. As they are quite big, they are hard to align perfectly and it is difficult to realign. But worst of all is the chalk dust. All that dust goes somewhere - typically all over the floor and surrounding walls. If you really want something like this, I'd go for a whiteboard with markers rather than a chalkboard.

Whiteboard ,that's very offensive, don't you mean non permanent marker pen board

Just to remind people that I have purchased many small items from AliExpress. The Chinese equivalent of EBAY, simply massive in size. Always had good service, always tick the free delivery box to only show the free delivery items.
Two points to check:
Make sure any electrical items have UK plug, although a two to three pin adaptor is cheap enough. Check voltage, only USA voltage is different, but still check. If in doubt use the message service to vendor.
The biggest risk is items over £15 in value can in theory attract UK Customs duty. This has never been a problem for me, but I have never bought anything over £40 in value. I would not risk a smartphone. Split any order that might go over. No problem with sending lots of small items, all postage free. One oddity I found that four items were more expensive than two orders of two items. Probably just a glitch, but still check. No problem with paying by credit guard, site security is very good, and site translation, currency choice is amazing.

Would just like to second this - have bought loads of things from them with no problems whatsoever. A great way to save money on any little items you have the patience to wait 3-4 weeks for. The single biggest thing I ever ordered from them was a £60 soldering station, which luckily I wasn't asked to pay any duty on. Beyond that, I've bought things like game controllers, batteries, adapters, phone mounts and have even built my own drone with parts entirely sourced from here.

Be careful!!!!! If you order more than one the shipping comes up as $155 dollars. Don't order when drunk, you might get a nasty Paypal bill!!!

Well said. Seems to me some people want to believe that "you're not allowed to say ba ba black sheep" or "you can't call it a snowman" or "you can't celebrate Christmas because it offends Muslims" when really all of those are blatantly not true. They just want something to be offended about, which is pretty ironic really.

I used to deliver shopping for ASDA and was delivering to a nursery when I heard them singing Baa Baa Rainbow sheep and I said to them why are they saying Rainbow instead of Black and she said its so we don't sound racist. Like you said you can get a Black Sheep you can't get a Rainbow Sheep.

Cows don't jump over moons.
Dishes don't run away with spoons.
And giant anthropomorphic eggs called Humpty don't really sit on walls to have great falls.
The kids, believe it or not, know this.
Trust me. Their little minds won't be blown by "rainbow sheep".

I had these when I lived in the US, they weren't great on our wall, the smooth wall under it made it very hard to write on and get the chalk to stick and it was also hard to rub it out.
