Carte Noire 200g is £5.00 at Tesco for 200g, which itself is a good price.
Checking my receipt, I noticed that it was scanning at £1.50.
Bought 6 in total. Will post receipt soon.
Edit: Its actually 200g I think. And it was the old style jars, as in the picture.

I asked customer services to scan one of the old style 200g jars in the my local store today. The shelf edge label still said £5.85, but it scanned at £4.23.

Priced @ £5.00 in my Tesco and scan @£5.00 so possibly a glitch at that one store.

As pointed out above, they're rebranded Carte Noire and the new 200g jars are on offer at £5.00 at Tesco.

My local has plenty of the old 200g jars on a clearance shelf, but the label is for £5.85. The barcode ends in 744 and I'd be interested to hear if anyone gets these jars for £1.50.

Just rang the "care-line" Number: 08081008787 and they say the product "Carte Noir" is discontinued.
"L'Or", is a different product, but Their response when I said "So, it is intended to mislead the public" was just to repeat "it's not the same product.
...don't think I'll even bother to try it!

Couldn't get the image of "The Oracle" from Benidorm out of my head when I watched this guys review!
Best deal I've had on Carte Noir was Waitrose offering the 200g jar at £5 on a BOGOF deal last year, bought £100's worth,
so I'm now looking to re-stock!

it doesnt need to be a wild goose chase if your in tesco anyway, im going today and if i see some then great.
It is 200g. But it still scanned at £1.50 and not the £5.00 on the shelf. The receipt just says "coffee".
