No it's not a silly comment, Yes a good price for a 700w microwave, but it will annoy the hell out of you when you are reheating dishes for 3/4 people.

700 watt............ this will take ages to re-heat anything, You need at least 800 to 900 now IMHO.
Most packaging may not show how long to cook for.

It's not rocket science to work out what you would add onto to cooking times and the times on packaging are purely advisory anyway. I often find I have to bung a minute or two onto what's printed on the cooking instructions onto my own microwave.

With respect: this is a bit of a silly comment. This machine will take 12.5% longer to re-heat an item than a 800W oven, or 22% longer than a 900W one. That is hardly 'ages' in this context where heating (say) a bowl of soup takes about 2 minutes in an 800W microwave oven or 135 seconds in this one.
If I needed a microwave oven I'd probably buy this one because it is perfectly adequate, so I have voted hot.

There may be a risk for people working in popcorn manufacturing however this is the odd microwave popcorn on movie night
