Some decent titles, not the usual tripe you'd expect like Step-Up 3.

They had the new Rise of the Footsoldier in the Metrocentre one, I've seen it and wouldn't even pay a quid for it lol.
Best one I've gotten from there was Die Hard 1 the 2 disc edition

Blue Ray's what?
(cold, but only because of the poor grammar).
I love trying to spot these. Is it missing a comma after about ?

Nice, can highly recommend Red Lights. MIB 3 is fun and Safe is fine but forgettable. Haven't seen the others. Certainly worth a quid each though.

I got Safe, REC 2 and MIB3. Safe is the one I'm happiest getting to be honest, the fight scenes are class.

It is the unnecessary apostrophe in "Blue Ray's" - that would imply the the genitive case - so something belonging to Blue Ray, rather that the plural (i.e. Blue Rays) which is what I think djhazardous meant but was unable to express. I think my question "Blue Ray's what?" should have been sufficient to show djhazardous his error, if that is he had been listening in the GCSE English lessons.
Perhaps people will say this doesn't matter or they don't care, but they will be wrong on both counts, our language matters a great deal.
Best wishes.

OP - I voted hot BTW as, although they never have any decent Blurays in my local Poundland, this is a good deal if yours has any

If you look back at post #6, you will notice that you didn't finish the sentence ending "towards you" with any punctuation. (I think that anybody who believes that "language matters a great deal" would have to agree that a smiley face is not proper punctuation). If you are going to be a grammar pedant you should ensure that your own written English is free of such simple errors.

Some bad bells on this site at times. So what if someone wrote Blue-ray instead of Blu-ray. You know full well what the deal was about.

It wasn't that. It was because I wrote 'Blu-ray's' instead of 'Blu-rays'.

Even with the superfluous apostrophe.
Mind, I was thrown with the 'e' and the lack of a hyphen for a moment

I don't care about misspelling but to be fair rouge apostrophes are up there with using less instead of fewer in terms of grating errors.

You must hate going to the supermarket. 10 items or less?

No joke, supermarkets actually changed that after public pressure. It's not just me.

Or buy off Ebay a few days later. The postage cost may be less than the bus trip to your local Poundland.

Got Stallone's "Bullet to the Head" recently, never seen it before, quite enjoyable, some of the violence was a bit OTT! though. But Sly was good. Worth a quid.

You could argue that Blu-ray's is technically correct as the apostrophe is a contraction and not a possessive. Blu-ray's correct title is Blu-ray Disc, hence the BD abbreviation. So the apostrophe takes place of the Disc part!
