Love a random offer. This is the only reason I keep an eye on this website!

I just picked up a few for shed bearers. They are pressure treated. They would do the job depending on the quality of job you want. Would I use them between 50 quid panels, no I wouldn't but then if you are paying 50 quid a panel your not the sort of person who seeks out 4 pound b&q posts to finish the job anyway.

I agree, looked at sizes an they are far too narrow and as another comment states they should be pressure treated for exterior use. Go to a Local timber merchant, 99% of the time they will be better and cheaper than BQ .

Never buy wood from places like this. Rip off. I get 100x100mm 3m posts for £8 from any timber merchants

Pressure treated is mainly used for outdoor purposes and heat treated is mainly used for indoor purposes

Description says it is heat treated, where would you suggest to buy it from instead?

If anyone wants fencing near Bradford, try estate sawmills, at back of Bradford city ground. slightly more expensive than these including vat.

Learnt that lesson 20 years ago. We only buy from estate saw mills. Good quality & supports rural areas.

I've never been impressed with the quality of B&Q timber and the reduction isn't as great as it seems. A similar fence post spec wise is £5.76 from my local timber merchant and they deliver free over £70.
