Great price but as someone who orders computer components all the time ive never heard of this company and a few of the reviews are really bad but the last one was around 6 months ago. I dont think id risk my money with them as it will only be a matter of time before a reputable company matches this kind of price.

read the negative comments and all the negative reviews points this company is a mickey mouse drop shipper or reseller from other dealers...
all negative reviews shows next day delivery taking weeks or months pointing to very badly operated business... could even be non Irish one like those ebay location abusers, drop shippers
Good for an 8gb, paid nearly this for a 4gb 2 weeks ago!

Sterling recovered against the euro a fair bit. I'm half thinking I could buy one or two of these with my sterling account and sell for euros, cash, in Ireland.

Ok chaps, I haven't been keeping up to speed on pc stuff, so would this be much of an upgrade from a Asus Matrix HD7970 ?
And how does this compare to the Nvidia equivalent ?
One question before i order between the 4GB vs 8GB
I play H1Z1, CS:GO, would 4GB be enough, I dont mind having to ugrade in 2 years time, but for now is 4GB enough for those games?
thanks

4gb is enough for any game on the market. As long as you don't mind turning down some settings in game such as shadow detail and ambient occlusion you can run games with very high frame rates.

The last time I noticed 8GB RX480 prices they were all £220+ so they certainly have come down. And that's despite sterling having down a fair bit so in terms of dollars they have dropped even more.
Of course, most of the time for computer stuff waiting ends up saving money; although RAM is meant to continue its rise for a while more.
And how does this compare to the Nvidia equivalent ?
cheers
