Hi I was doing some research on the card and found that you can get 0db fans by updating the graphics card BIOS.
Does this card have a silent mode where the fans don't turn on until the card reaches a certain temperature?

It was a £1200 laptop with such shoddy quality and trying to get it fixed made me realise how bad the asus customer service is so I just do not wish to give them my money. I shall wait for a MSI with the Samsung Memory to drop in price.

You shouldn't compare whole systems with components, there's huge price pressure on laptops, so even big names have to build to price.

Forgive my stupidity, when i search for this item, it seems to have a different price/availability how is this one different to:
Click through to the 'Other sellers' on the right-hand side. Looks like Amazon £339 is now out of stock as the lead time is 1-2 months. Order now and they'll keep the price.

I just can't bear to give ASUS my money after the shockingly awful laptop i got in Black Friday. Pretty sure new AMD will drive prices down.

ASUS's GPU support is surprisingly good... When you buy from Amazon they will usually cover you for the first year and help you with claims for the rest of the warranty period.
