Decent deal for a 460 2gb not as good as the 480 4gb and 8gb but if you want good value card and you don't have the cash. Go for this because it is the cheapest out of rx 460 the other cheapest decent one is £110 and all the asus ones are going cheap.
Ps want to get this to the top 10 deals like the other amd graphics card.
Happy hunting

What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
You can't buy a GTX 950 or 1050 for this price.

To be fair, it's imaginary internet points. I'd aim higher if I were you.

Most software primarily relies on CPU for rendering files, BUT a decent GPU is helpful for certain things in certain software. For example i upgraded my GPU so that i'd be able to get a decent fps playback in davinci resolve, and can now watch things colour graded on the fly ( i believe it stil uses the CPU rather than GPU when it comes to exporting?). Id do a little research into your chosen software ( for example i know that Lightworks has also been using GPU to help with any effects/colour corrections for the last few years).

cold. not worth the money. get a 1050 or a used card.
But that's the point I was making; there will be compromise when gaming on a budget gpu, be it textures, resolution or effects.
Hell, we have an old (now retired) phenom x4 machine with a 1gb 7790 that will run the game at medium settings at 1080p on medium ( or 'normal' as it's called in gta) at a steady 30-40 fps.

and please, i dont want anybody to respond back to me like "well the rx460 is capable of dx12 blah blah blah"
1st off dx12 hasnt fully took control of the gaming development yet cept only a few games like tomb raider being one of them etc.
2nd, now why on earth would you want to a rx460 to dominate games that are running dx12? you wont experience any dx12 features with a graphics card as low as the 460 you will atleast need a 470/480 with 8gb VRAM or maybe even wait for the rx 490 vega
I wouldn't call it disappointing especially at this price. I got one Used for £66 not long ago and so far i've been happy with it, everything i've thrown at it works wonders. I personally have the 1070 but I don't think it's fair to say it's a disappointing card, it has its space in the market.

Not about the power, turn off all the effects and you still can't run with max textures at 1080 as you're are least 500mb short. GTA V has been around a bit now so I imagine you'll have similar issues with newer games.

I'd say this card is perfect for a child/teen's gaming pc.
Skip it. Even at 4gb, it doesn't compete with other value options, such as the 380 (often found for 100 used).
The 1050 from NVIDIA is a better value at this price point and I can't, with good conscious, recommend either.

Fair point, but not sure you'd be laying down £80 on a gpu with an expectation that you'd run GTA with bells and whistle at 1080p at 60fps.
It'll provide a decent experience at 1080p with a mix of medium to high settings.

Usual reasons, chip yields being the main one.

Why was it locked down in the first place? Seems pretty decent performance for £90, although even at 1080p the 2gb limit will be reached pretty easily - won't be able to play GTA V with all the bells and whistles for example, and no doubt there are others too

Agree. If its 4k video editing and you've less than 8gb of ram or don't have an SSD I'd put the money towards that.

You don't need a GPU at all, stick to your iGPU and save your money.

This is on the unlock list too so you might be able to unlock more performance.
