Xbox Live Gold is needed for at least one of the consoles. You can set up content sharing between them and only one needs to buy the Gold subs for the other to also benefit. You basically get Kid A to set Kid B's console to be their home console (and vice versa if you want both to share whatever they purchase digitally).

Probably easier just to add an external USB drive if it's difficult to install. Won't void your warranty either. PS4 is such an easy upgrade internally by comparison.

Yes...I realise that thanks. But it's not the same console, it's double the memory and with an extra game.

MS went the easy route, connect any external 3.0 HDD and away you go, no need to open up consoles any more, even Sony just supported this feature in their last update.

But yeah what a deal, under £200 for a 4k player that also play games from two generation of consoles and comes with another controller, talk about a bargain.

Thanks for the info. Wasn't even aware that you can connect with external hdd. Mean one can max 8TB drive which the internal wouldn't have accepted no more than 2TB.

It is a fantastic deal indeed. I just got fed up with PS4 no backward compatibility and the fact there are more games here even cheaper when with all the CDKEY offers I see here under £5-10 or xbox in comparison to PS4.

You can go up to 16TB on Xbox One using external USB 3 drives plus you keep the internal drive space. (use portable or desktop USB 3) just plug and play, can move/ copy games between drives.
Can even take just the USB drive with your digital games on plug it another Xbox One anywhere, sign in and play whilst your console is at home.

If you've paid for it online to collect in store, they hold items for 7 days. If you've reserved online to pay and collect it in store, they only hold until close of business the next working day.

I purchased instore my reservation around 3pm. I can confirm that the two £10 discount codes did not work instore, and they tried to enter them in a couple of different ways. They also tried adding Forza, but it only added an additional amount to the total so it is not free. It is worth noting that anyone with a Sainsburys staff discount also gets 10% off in Argos now.

Picked a bundle up for my friend.

Reservation email shows as £199.99, but till showed £247.98. Showed the girl my email and without any further ado she adjusted the price to £199.99 and then said' oh you get Forza free with this' as well. Looking at the receipt it looks like she manually adjusted the controller to zero but the Forza discount shows as a promotion.

BC has been a big thing for me, i have quite a big collection of digital and retail 360 games, and to see them appear on your XB1 console is cracking, and all for free, love it, and with the Scorpio also supporting 360 and xb1 games along with Scorpio games, MS getting it right for a changem, and when the time comes i trade in both my XB1's and get a scorpio for a song, basically i will be stinging MS on that deal. :smile:

That's always confused me. I've been with Sky for yonks and haven't ever bothered to negotiate a new deal by cancelling. Definitely don't have the sky go extra thingy to allow me to watch on a console, but I've had the console as a device to watch on and it works just fine.

Yes, it was a white one. I ordered from John Lewis because of the 2 year warranty. They would only price match to £199.99 though as they said the £10 code was not public knowledge. I was happy with £199.99 and the extra controller because there was the extra year warranty.
