Other than for iOS specific stuffs like, eg. Streaming your Media/Pictures via it from your iPad, iPhone, iPod, or whatever?.

Has built in Netflix and Now TV, iPlayer apps etc. Yes there are other smart boxes that have these Apps too like the Roku but its good if you also want to do the iOS specific stuff and have it all in one box.
As as well as mirroring video etc from your iOS device it links to your iTunes account so you don't have to rely on mirroring from iOS. For example any movies or music you have bought on iTunes are available on the box.
My fave feature is mirroring from my MacBook Air, basically meaning I can use my 40" TV as a wireless 2nd monitor (mirrored or extended mode) from my laptop...
Another small feature is I can have my laptop hooked up in another room to my stereo playing music but also use the Apple TV to mirror that music (TV with soundbar is a good example). Ok its not SONOS but its a nice way of having music going through the house in different rooms all synced together in time without any physical wire between those rooms.

That's true too, on Kodi.tv website, there's an iTunes/iOS version of Kodi also.
So, that too is more than possible as well I guess?, lol.

Can't. Only the outdated ATV2. ATV3 cannot be jailbroken. Since the ATV4 has bern out for a while and cheaper Android boxes proliferate, nobody is now going to waste time and effort cracking this revision. Skip it unless you want to mirror your Apple stuff.

Thanx.
Cruchyroll rings a bell too mind?, I've heard of it mentioned via here a few times last year ..... but not 100% sure as to what that is? (from what was mentioned of it at the time etc, I'm assuming it's something similar to that of Showbox or something?).

With an ATV3? Is this just mirroring from the iOS app?

It's a Netflix style service for Anime, there's a free option you can try out, Premium removes ads and has simulcasts with Japan

I believe so, but can't swear to it for certain?.
As I've not tried any of your or my above? (as I don't own any Apple TV Boxes myself).
I know someone who once had (but no more) a Jailbroken Apple TV Box some ago back though?, they were having Kodi on theirs at the time (no idea as to which Generation of Apple TV Box they were using at the time either?, as this was some 4 year's or so now?, or maybe more?, no idea ... lol).
But I'm aware it's possible, that's all, lol.

Ooooooooo, sounds very cool! (Anime ROCKS!, hehehe). :-)
I'm assuming it's an iOS only App then? (via the Apple TV Box?), can that same Channel/App be had via either Kodi/Android too?, or ..... thanx. :-)

For this price you can get an Android box which
you can do a lot more with. Dont waste your money on this limited piece of plastic.

I appreciate what your saying, and originally I was half in a similar (if not same) mind as you really? (hence indirectly some of my earlier comments also?).
But based upon the comments forth (Comment 35) from above, I'm in a somewhat dis-swayed temperament now, lol. :-)
Opening post
They seem to be selling for £50+ on eBay used so seems like a good deal.
