A fantastic portable speaker at the lowest price its been in months. Great for blasting music from your phone or improving the sound from an Echo Dot.
It usually sits around £28-£30. Only available at £20.99 in black.
Hope this helps someone!

This was sat at £20 only just about a week ago before Anker had their valentines sale, they then bumped it up to discount again as part of their sale, cheeky gits.

Anyone got both this one and the 20w one which is also reduced, down to £37.99. is there a noticeable difference in sound quality that's worth paying the extra £17?

The base is very noticeable on the 20w one compared to the 6, but if your just using it in a average size room at home then the smaller one is just fine. The battery life on the 6w is much better.

I returned the Hive 2. crap sound. Distorted, quiet and no base. Bought some Shark ones. Much better sound. Very loud with no distortion or fuzz and good bass.

Anker sent me one for free when I gave a review of a smaller speaker which I returned. The missus is after one so happy to buy one this time.

I kept my Hive 2. Great sound. No distortion, nice and loud with decent bass. Think you got a duff one.

When did you charged it last time?
My one works on single charge since July. I'm a bit worried that will "glow in the dark" as well.

Cracking speaker for the money, I have the mini bose but bought this for my daughter at Uni, sounds is excellent, not as " basey" as the bose but still a very good sound.

Bought this for £30 a couple of months ago. It's amazing! Very powerful sound for the price. £20 is disgustingly cheap for what it is

You can use it while it is charging. It is available in other colours - red & blue. But they're not on offer at the moment.
Got this at Christmas. Excellent wee speaker - quality piece of hardware

Looking at the spec this is 6watt and the hive2 is 12watt so this is not as loud.

Think I paid £22 and really happy with it. Not got great base but clarity is very good. Battery lasts a long time. Would recommend.

Is this any good for hooking up to a tv with the Bluetooth? Looking for a bit more oomph just for movies really, but no room for a sound bar!

I don't see the point of buying speakers less than 15W - most laptops and even some phones will be louder / nicer than this.

LOL!
i'm sitting in my living room where my 2 kids are playing Minecraft and talking. My Anker is in the kitchen playing from the Echo Dot set at volume level 3. I can hear it perfectly clearly. My if I was playing music on my laptop or phone in the same place there is no way they would be as loud or clear!
