Description
ANEWISH wifi dongle AC600 dual band ( 5GHz 433Mbps or 2.4GHz 150Mbps ) wireless usb wifi adapter for pc / desktop / laptop / tablet, supports Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac os X 10.4-10.11.4 and 10.12.1(No drivers required for Windows 10)
5GHz 433Mbps is perfect for HD video streaming and gaming, while 2.4GHz 150Mbps is enough for web surfing and online chatting.
Shift between two bands, you have optional wifi internet connection for your pc, desktop, laptop, or tablet.
Warm Tips
- Before plugging it into the usb port, please FIRST install our CD driver included in the package (No drivers required for Windows 10)The improper sequence may cause bluescreen, rejecting or shutting down of your device.
- Please do not surprise once you find the speed is not even higher than a cheaper wifi dongle. This dongle has two bands function, but only when connected by router with 5GHz band, could it run at up to 433Mbps speed. Otherwise,it runs at a Max speed of 150Mbps. So, to enjoy high speed,a dual band router is a must.
- 5GHz mode stands out within short range. If your router is near the wifi dongle, there will be a stronger signal under 5GHz band mode than 2.4GHz band mode;if the distance is long, you will have a better signal when you choose 2.4GHz band mode.
- This wifi usb adapter with 100m indoor receiving range and 10m emission range may not reach some place,e.g.Your router is on the ground floor, and the wireless adapter is in your bed room upstairs at the other side of the house.

...along with Lucky Goldstar, maybe Anewish is translated from the manufacturers native language?

Unless you have an insanely fast fibre connection this will not speed up your connection. What it will do is speed up your local network, for local streaming, file transfer, etc.

These are fantastic. Full speed stable connection (finally) for my BT Infinity.

l hate pedanticism, but Gosh l hate people like me with`what l`m about to say, your statement`they manage the connection to your router` is wrong, you can be pendantic as well and point out only one company allocates, then, l will point out whatever ISP got, they give out offers based on profit margin/servers/staffs etc.
l`ll await your response, to give personal example, not arguing just saying, damn l did it again.

I think, l know what you mean, a little tweak and speeds increases, like in the old days.
Young one`s look away now, we used to be able to increase Utorrent speed by following the guide on (that famous website)
Then fibre came and it renders it irrelevant and one seeder you can reach 5 (So l heard)
Ah missed the good old days.:man:
And whatever happen to the Legend?

I would say your internet provider has very little to do with your wifi speed, they manage the connection to your router (so your internet connection) the routers capability to support multiple devices, the contention on the channel that it uses ( with other wifi networks in the area) and the ability of bothyour router to deliver 2 & 5ghz and the ability of devices to use 5ghz will have a far larger impact.
So to answer the question, if the bottleneck is your wifi and not your internet connection and your router supports 2 & 5 ghz and the device you are looking at this for doesnt currently support 5ghz then yes this will help.

Plenty about, just not in £5-£6 range.
l`m in this pickle thanks to the Designer of a particular MSI motherboard, there is a special place reserve in hell for him/her.
Ah well, needs to go and find that £2 Bluetooth dongle from Aldi yonders ago.
Thanks for your help.

Wifi speed is nothing to do with your internet company at all...

19 Feb 17#14
Indeed - my point being you will never have a faster speed than what your line is set to by the ISP and in most cases it'll be a hell of a lot lower. Hence this adapter won't speed up your WIFI if you have slow broadband in the first place.

No Bluetooth, wifi only. Don't think you would see a Wifi and Bluetooth dongle this price, in fact I'm not aware of any combined wifi/bluetooth dongles at all, though it would be handy if you could get them...

Depends how good your existing wifi adaptor is. If it doesn't support 5ghz or ac this one will probably be better though whether or not you notice the different depends on how heavy a internet/ network user you are.

It is brand new. Its just the manufacturer name. Really stupid name imho as they will have people thinking they are used when there not.
Good product though, got one last time they were on sale and ordered another this time. Very good range thanks to the included antenna...
