I paid 1.69 for quilted in there days ago and that was a deal miserable staff always are have a chip on there shoulder. I well buy the whole lot if still a £1 have to take them out the packaging to fit more in my bag and bin bags and carry home lol. I used to hate buying toilet roll. You at the checkout and you see a pretty girl serving and you know she knows what you be doing later lol Great deal i be buying the shop

I saw this on their window last night whilst going for a walk thought it looked like a good deal.
My last purchase of a 4 pack toilet roll was from aldi as well, they are very good and cheap price, I was thinking do I really need to get these andrex being the last pack of 4 rolls I bought was in early December and still have one roll left and working it out may save what like 20p a month of something.
I've always tried to save on toilet paper amongst other things and my mum sees what she thinks are bargains and stocks up, now her room is filled with tissues of all sorts :disappointed:

Is there a limit of how many I can buy? I can't see on the website but our local poundstretcher's staff would rather see the place run down than sell two of anything, once got refused the sale of 2 Washing up bowls when they were 99p each... as if I'm going to start up my own pound shop with 2 washing up bowls!
Ended up sending my other half in for another one when I got outside :smiley:

Shea has 160 sheets, gentle has 190 and classic has 210 or so I believe.
Bought 16, staff looked at us a little weird. Tons left though, so I didn't feel guilty.

Has anyone taken in to consideration that (as it seems to be made for Poundstertcher) that there maybe a lot less sheets on the roll...Its only a bargain if its as good a quality, and has a similar amount of sheets on the roll to its rivals....I bet a big percentage of the toilet roll buyers dont compare sheets per roll. Its a while since I compared these, so cant answer the question.

99p at the pound shop that's scandalous, they need to be reported to trading standards.

I don't think you'll find cheaper than this.
Do they have the same number of sheets per roll as the ones sold in the big supermarkets as some products are specially made for the discounters which have a reduced quantity.

We bought loads of Nicky Snowman after Xmas when it was reduced to 99p 4 rolls, and kitchen towels 2 for 99p. Bloody fantastic, better than Andrex - pay for the name. Do you 'know' what Andrex says?
The Andrex® Clean Routine :stuck_out_tongue:
1. Use 3-4 sheets per wipe. WHAT!!!! Per wipe! At that rate a roll will be gone in no time. :neutral_face:
2. Wipe from front to back until clean. :confused:
3. Use 1-2 Washlets® to feel cleaner. More money for Andrex!
4. Pat dry with toilet tissue. WHAT use even MORE!!
5. Always wash hands with soap. Yeah, we know that, it's not hard. :smirk:

Stuff Andrex. Nicky or Aldi's 1.99 for 9 rolls are tops! :stuck_out_tongue:

If thats correct for these Andrex, thats excellent and is genuine good value...

Is Classic or Gentle Clean better?
