Has any keen Amex-er bought gift cards/vouchers for any of these restaurants, and has the correct statement credit been delivered?
A list of those restaurants where it worked would be invaluable to all
Thanks
Although I do see that if the vouchers were used after the offer period, one wouldn't get the extra benefits of 20% off, a complimentary bottle of wine or a free appetiser
Also, if dining in, could one use several Amex cards, each to £10 to cover the bill?

Yes, these offers have now appeared on all our Amex cards (previously not showing offer at all). Does anyone know if this is one credit statement per card only or is it one credit statement per restaurant? Thanks.

Thanks. Did it definitely show in your saved offers? Really strange why it may have worked for some and not others....hopefully everyone who wants to use it can do so.

We managed to load this to all 4 of our Amex cards on Friday, two rounds of large wines and a split bill for tapas at Camino, between us we got £40 back.
This offer is worth it for drinks alone, two large (250ml) wines @ £16.40 with £10 back.

Thanks. Seems like too much of a faff for £10 cash back. Might just try splitting over two cards when dining with my husband so we both get the £10 back

17 Feb 17#36
You'd be paying in full for the £10 vouchers.
Hope you manage to tweak something, good luck.

17 Feb 17#35
Ahh OK I thought the t'a and c's meant you had to pay in full with Amex
backinstock
17 Feb 17#34
Why not?
Would the 20% not just come off the bill and you would pay with the vouchers and top up any extra amount?
eg bill is originally £30 - less 20% = £24. Pay using two x £10 gift vouchers + £4 - cost = £4.
jujuja
17 Feb 17#33
That won't work with the 20 % off food offer etc though....
jujuja
17 Feb 17#31
Managed to save now.
Anyone know if you could use on two cards splitting the bill like with the small business cash back?

Probably be up to individual restaurants.
Check to see if they sell gift vouchers / cards. That could be one way to tweak things.

Yes, back.
But no extra restaurants from the original destinations in the UK.
Off again to take my whippet for a walk, with my flat cap on.
Maybe I'll pick up a Gregg's sausage roll later!
