Exactly! I have used £29 in club card Vouchers and paid £4.50 by credit card.
I have collected it on Friday, It's pretty useless if you don’t want to use amazon services…
I have wiped it and flashed Nexus 7 rom on it and I need to say that it’s fast and fully functional 7” tablet now…

That goes for pretty much any consumer electronics item - at stock they are substandard until they've been modified to suit individual requirements.

yes these are great to play movies off, my children have had them for 2 years and whenever we go away I put movies on for them to watch. they can play games on it also so that keeps them quiet for a while

looking for a cheap tablet with expandable memory simply to play movies off for my son whilst traveling. We had a blackberry playbook for years, which although useless for anything else it was great just for movies, but recently the charger port broke. Anyone know if this would be ideal for that?
I doubt there is any fancy angle on Clubcard - it is just a way of getting rid of them if you don't normally shop at Tesco or can't find a good Clubcard partner deal to use them on, or of course not spending your cash if you are short on money at the moment. Otherwise you might actually be wasting them by using them on the Fire 7 tablet.

Got one of these black friday when it was £30. Its great for what I need it for (multimedia consumption). The SD card actually cost me more haha!
I flashed it with cyanogenmod and have not noticed any major bugs so far.

So basically like any Apple device it's only useful if you hack it. Sounds about right. :smirk:
