Did you test them yet? I bought 20 packs and when I went to use the first pack this week they didn't work. Opened 6 packs and none of them work - took them back but had a bit of a battle in store as the staff are not clued up on Consumer Rights Act and that goods should be fit for purpose etc. Eventually customer services sorted it out for me.

Not voted, but cold from me. Cheap 'energy', but the environment pays ultimately. Don't be so cheap - get some hybrios or equivalent, and feel good about not disposing of batteries all the time

Everything I own that can run on rechargeables does, but not everything can. My carbon monoxide alarm and my bt phones don't work with the 1.2v and require disposables :disappointed: There's something else too, but can't remember off the top of my head.

Did the wording "Hightech" somehow convince you these were something special?
I've got dozens of decent rechargeable batteries of the stay charged type. It seems perhaps it is you who is far behind in your thinking. I'm just a lot more environmentally conscious than you

I wasn't around then but I don't think they had rechargeable batteries in the stone age.
