Was looking at mobile broadband deals and came across Vodafones data only sims:
15GB - £15
30GB - £20
50GB - £25
All 4g and all on a 30 day contract (rolling I gather) instead of a 12m deal!
I appreciate some people may not like the company however as a deal I think it's great (especially if you consider the 12m deals they have there cr*p).
I used Uswitch to compare and the closest I got was Three with 15GB for £20 (1m rolling)

Used to have a business Vodafone account. UK based support and was difficult to fault them, some of the best customer service I've had from any network. Shame it was just a bit too expensive!

If it's rolling, good luck cancelling. My wife phoned to give notice, gave notice on online chat, and wrote a letter. They sent us an email whilst on holiday thanking us for staying with them and sent a phone out!
Then they accepted it was a mixture of their fault and possibly fraud by another party. But a year later we go for a mortgage and guess what? It fails as they left a bad report on her credit history so we had to mess around getting that removed!
Long story short, never use vodafone

I think Vodafone are having more problems than others at the moment, but they are not worse than others historically. 3 did something similar to a friend of mine and orange did something very similar to my wife which put her in bad credit for years because a salesman wanted commission.

I have a small business account with them and called up expecting a fight - had 3 things to address: under a minute wait to speak to someone, offshore advisor but polite and efficiently resolved all 3 things. So while I expected it to be bad, I can't really say it has been and I still haven't had a compelling reason to leave, which is the opposite to the experience I had with EE/T-Mobile.

2G current data report
The maximum data speed in this postcode is:
• 0 Kbps - 200 Kbps (Download)
• 0 Kbps - 200 Kbps (Upload)
We currently provide a 2G service in this area, suitable for calls and texts but with limited internet capability and basic data speeds. Speeds will also vary depending on the device used.
Meaning I will get sod all coverage. Cheap but useless.

Voda do 100GB for £16.99 if you buy a router.
12 months. @ £16.99 with £59.99 router costs. - 100GB a month
24 months. @ £16.99 with £29.99 router costs. - 100GB a month.
Best on the market

Can't find it on Vodafone's website. Do you have a link?
Airtel only use Vodafone branding it is not Voda, after Hutchison India was bought by Vodafone it became the major competitor to Airtel India.
I doubt you can use any of that 100GB on the UK mainland, same as 3 Ireland Broadband is excluded from the free UK mainland roaming.

I picked up this deal in Birmingham today,. They also had 50gb for £25. But the deal ends this weekend allegedly
Good CS in store however when I got home and out the SIM in my mifi device and tested the speeds were consistently slow 3-6mbps download. Spoke to CS via online chat,. & discover that I was given a 3g SIM... They are sending a new one in the post. .... Still not sure about speeds those speeds are very poor even for 3g or high speed dating

Just pop in any store with ID, it's designed for people not in there fibre areas but it's available to anybody, not all the staff are aware it's available.

It's designed to be a home broadband deal. Not sure if it would pick up it's in a mobile device if you used the sim in a phone or tablet etc. Looks like it's in store only.
AstonedRaichu - With the greatest of respect this is a 30 DAY deal and not a 12m contract so therefore it's not really comparable unless you intend to use it for 12months. How could you provide a linky as that does sound a good deal in its own right and you should post it if not!
Blue70 - that's subjective as I'm currently on vodafone only ever had 1 problem with them(about my bill) and they corrected it with a £10 goodwill gesture...

Not really as the poor service I received was factual, several billing errors over a number of months and you have stated that you also received poor service. Nothing subjective there I'm afraid.

Can you get that mainland? I can't see an option to buy because if so that's a smashing deal
I guess that's the point and it depends on whether they resolve your issue or not when you speak to them. I had problems every year when I renewed my contract for 3 years on the bounce. This wasn't an isolated incident. No company should be in that position let alone a global comms company. I'm not for one minutes suggesting that other providers are excellent but from my experience Vodafone are the worst.
The last set of complaints data that I saw seemed to show that this was the case nationally as well as Vodafone were the most complained about out of the all the providers. I'm glad you got some decent service, I wish I had.

So I just called up to see if they could 'better' 15gb for £15 and they offered me a month free as I'm an existing customer! Result! Get phoning people!

I have had issues but the exec office always resolves it so no real complaints from me - none of thge providers seem better than others

Regardless of the price it's a false economy as their customer service is truly crap. I had to go to the Ombudsman to get my complaint resolved. They are unbelievably terrible.
