They are claiming the order was sent on the 1st... I spoke to Royal Mail told them the story that only house number, city and post code were present, Royal Mail stated that it would still be delivered with these details
Simply are claiming dispatch, although I am not entirely sure I believe them now
Yes they took my money when I placed the pre order (when you posted the deal) but I have seen nothing from them
They are saying it's my fault for not putting all address information, which I don't believe I would have done (not done) and are putting responsibility onto me, however after speaking to Royal Mail I am having serious doubts about them
They hardly respond to emails, yet are happy to spam my email address with offers and asking me to rate them on trust pilot (not a good idea atm lol)
Just very disappointed generally with the situation really, but not much I can do other than escalating my case to a claim in PayPal, I just hope PayPal with side with me seeing as they have no proof of posting in the first instance

so how does the situation currently stand? they say your address was not complete, so was your order sent or not? I am assuming they took payment

I will Simply never use this company again, still nothing received my end, sent a total of 4 emails which they only responded to 1 claiming I didn't provide a full address (which is simply not possible as you select from a list of address's)
The cynical side of me is wondering if they never sent my game at all and since they have raised the price by £10 now they have sold it to someone else
If they expect me to go away quietly they can forget it, I already raised a grievance (not sure if this is correct term) within PayPal and will take it through to a full claim if they continue with being unhelpful and / or not even bothering to reply to me

Just trying to appease current situation to try n save kids disappointment :disappointed:
Can I suggest checking for stock at your local Argos shops as Argos credit card gives 3 months to pay when spending over £50 and the game is £54.99
m14x74
4 Mar 17#60
If only it were that easy, I don't have the additional funds available to simply (no pun intended) go out and buy another one
I have never used this company before and I am sure they are perfectly fine, it was a great price and deal, hence why I left heat and ordered
Just sharing the disappointment we now have because the game has not arrived
It doesn't help that I can't even reach customer services until monday either

In that case can I suggest going to a shop and buying one, then if your online order shows up return that one to the shop

Sorry to hear that - ultimately it's Royal Mail's fault, rather than Simply Games, but clearly that doesn't make it any less disappointing. Hopefully it'll arrive with you tomorrow - it certainly *should* do, given that the games are sent by First Class delivery (so should be rights have arrived yesterday or today).

Amazon order has gone from release day delivery to the 7th... Knew I should've ordered elsewhere!
They even assured me via live chat that it'd be delivered today when I checked yesterday evening...

You shoulda orderd from very. I got Zelda and 1,2 switch for a total of £55 that is basically £27.50p for each switch game.

27 Feb 17#50
Well there attitude form hem was terrible as th response was I should have paid £5 for delivery.
I'm very doubtful they even sent it cause they contradicted themselves twice on datesnh shipped it and also I was getting all my other mail perfectly fine. Never had any issues from amazon, game, ShopTo with free delivery. The fav it was a pre order as well just made it worse and the refuel unto
Even do anything till 14 days had passed only to wait for a refund so about 20 days out of pocket money.
Lesson learned though but it's good some people do t have any issues.
Adexus to gotham82
27 Feb 17#51
Very strange,it's a shame that you had issues though!
Funnily enough the only lost parcel I've had was from Shopto, was only a cheap game but I had to wait the 14 days to get my money back.

24 Feb 171#6
I tried simply games once and the game didn't arrived and I had such hassle form then I had to wait over 2 weeks after launch and had to make a few complaints before they would refund me. then I got well because you didn't pay £5 for delivery thats why my game went missing.
not worth the headache to try them again its only a few pounds saving.
Adexus to gotham82
27 Feb 17#49
Pre-ordered a ton of games from here and all have arrived at least 1 day early, and if it's a Tuesday release then it'll usually arrive on the Saturday before.
If it gets lost in the post then it's a standard 14 days for Royal Mail delivery before any site I've known to send out a refund, though they should've just said this in the first place mind lol

At this time it's the best price you can get it. So heat. Lucky enough to use the free £10 amazon prime thanks code the other month which took this down to £40 for me. Can't wait until Friday.

i kicked off at them as they were ready to charge me £48 instead of £40. they sorted that but not dispatch date. complained again. now it's due to distance on 1st march to arrive for 3rd March.
Jay080286
25 Feb 171#43
The discount disappeared because it was£10 off £50, so say Zelda was £49.99 and if your add-on item was under £2.01. When the price changed to £48 it took people below the £50.
But at least they sorted it out.

It shouldn't be anything to be ashamed of - games are becoming an ever more mainstream form of media.
Also, for personally-addressed packages, the post handling team may be quite likely to pass it on to the addressee unopened - depending of course upon how your organisation works.

I noticed that my price had increased and the discount had disappeared from the order so I got in contact with them, they have re-added the discount again. Still not sure on the dispatch, but as it happens I'm going to be busy on the Friday so won't get to play until Saturday anyway.

If it was any other game then fair enough, but it's pretty safe to assume that anybody ordering this is going to want it on or before launch day to avoid the disappointment of having a Switch with no games...
Even Wii U users like me are understandably excited for it considering the lack of software support over the past year or so.
I've got it preordered for the Wii U from Amazon for £40, but I'm tempted to pay a fiver more and go with TGC or Simply to get it a few days earlier.

Of course people are, it's a launch game for a launch Switch, I don't have any use for a console with no games. Also this is being shipped to my office so it'll be through Monday.
I've intentionally kept my gaming slate clean due to this and Mass Effect coming out in March, so I'm not about to start playing something else at this point. Sure I can do other stuff, but It's a Zelda game ffs... They're not exactly annual occurances like your CoDs or Battlefields! Allow me to be a bit excited about a massive event in my main hobby!
The 3rd is also a Friday and I'm getting it delivered to a work address, so if I don't get it on Friday, I miss out on a weekend of gaming.

I made a bad call as well. I wish I had pre-ordered. Unfortunately, as a student, I can't justify spending £45 on a game but that seems to be the only option, especially as Nintendo games hold price. I hope my luck will change. It's always the case that Nintendo always print few copies to keep costs down.
