Lego Dimensions are on 3 for 2 at Sainsburys and include the newly released Lego Batman and Knight Rider Fun Packs
Others in my local included Sensei Wu, Lloyd, Bane and Stay Puft
£12.99 each so works out about £8.66 each. Pretty good imo for the new packs

Just to point out what a joke the RRP is. I have everything for Dimensions released so far except for two story packs and five fun packs. I know I don't need them all but I like to collect. The RRP of everything I have is £1020 yet through waiting for deals and buying at the right time I've paid only £475 for it all (nothing 2nd hand).

My problem with them is the base bricks. I don't want to pay for Lego bricks that aren't useful to the game, as that's all I'm interested in. I'm sure the physical contents of the packs are one of the main reasons we've seen zero deals on them so far. Still, I can't imagine the Ghostbusters pack sold well, so it can only be a matter of time. The Lego Batman pack will no doubt hold it's price for quite some time though :disappointed:

If you're not looking to give them as gifts and just want the tags (without the lego) then you can get them cheap on ebay. I got the 3 brand new story packs for £15 as I only wanted the tags. Collectors are more interested in the Lego so for those who just want them for the game, it's worth a look.

If you've got any CEX credit, the story packs are £30-32 including postage (sealed). They even currently have Batman.
Noticed this yesterday instore, will be looking to pick up Knight Rider & 2 other new ones maybe BA, ET or Stay Puff. Not really interested in picking up another Bat man -as original one will do just fine

bear in mind that the new batman unlocks a new world too. lego batman (from lego batman movie) unlocks lego batman movie world whereas lego batman (from the base pack) unlocks the dc world... wow it's confusing

I agree, the story packs are actually good for the money compared to the fun packs, and level packs, Me and my daughter have only played the Lego batman movie one so far, completed that. (Not 100%) and now starting the fantastic beasts story pack. Which looks good so far.
The fun packs are just to get into worlds, and there are a lot of characters for the same worlds some times

Standard marketing pricing methodology... release them at ridiculous price so you can do offers on them like BOGOF etc...
of course some will buy at full price as they cant wait for deals...

To be honest, the story packs are actually by FAR the most reasonably priced packs for Dimensions. It's not even close. Six times more gameplay than a level pack, and a several times more physical Lego included, at less than double the price.
It's all the smaller ones - especially the team ones - which are ridiculously overpriced.

I said that until I could only get 5/6 renovations on Fantastic Beasts world because one is not unlocked until you complete the story pack.

Are Story Packs included this time?

Answering my own question, look online it seems to be only certain Fun Packs (not all of them, not Team, Level or Story packs)

You could (for example) buy 2 of these from Toys R Us for £20 http://www.toysrus.co.uk/toys/xbox-one-disney-infinity-3-0-star-wars-starter-pack/0154692 and sell to CEX for £28 credit to spent on a story pack.

Normal price is daft.
