There were lots of choice a week before. Almost all days in April including bank holidays were available.

pretty slim pickings anyways, am sure there were a very small amount. Legoland do so many promotions, which just become too many hoops to jump thru, hoping people will just go with the full price to get a day they want.

It says to allow 48 hours to receive the tickets. However I have to still to receive even the Booking Confirmation. Tickets are sent in a separate email.

Do you guys get an error if a code has been used already ? I am trying to claim the tickets but after keying in the codes and clicking submit nothing is happening. However if I remove one of the code and click submit it does indicate that code is not entered.

The trick with little ones is to get one of the adults to queue while the other takes the kiddies to the many areas around the queue where they can climb, play with loose lego, let off steam. Other parents in the queue understand this and won't mind you 'pushing back in' as adult 1 gets closer to the front - as long as you are clearly together and do it respectfully. Etiquette seems to be that you join the queue, wait a minute or two till there are people behind you and ask them if they mind you taking the kiddies off temporarily leaving your (long suffering!) other half to queue and chat. As for the rides - there are loads suitable for 3 yr olds, don't worry.

Kona its not lone children they are concerned about with the tickets and your 3 old may enjoy the shows and seeing the models and theres a splash bit and area to make lego ?

my husband and I want to take our 5 yr old so there will be three of us with 4 tickets. We were thinking of saying if we are challenged at the gate we say we were planning to bring our other son (who will be nearly 3 yrs old when we go) but he's poorly so had to stay with grandparents!? In reality we just think our youngest will be a bit too young to enjoy some of the rides and will get bored in the queues.

I think the single admission is about them being careful of lone males after the attack on those young girls last year. Not saying all lone males are paedophiles, but why would a lone male want to go somewhere with screaming kids for a day out?

Someone probably used it before you did... each paper = unique code.

I would say ask your wife to open a separate account and buy 2 separate tickets for the same day. All kids need to pay unless it is a 'Kids Go Free' event.

So subscribing to digital version would not help? In case of sun, I managed to buy Legoland tickets by paying for the digital subscription as that allowed me to pick the date. There seems to be a £10 Amazon voucher to earn if I subscribe by paying £8 so technically not loosing anything.

This works out to £17.10 for 2 tickets so cheaper than Tesco clubcard offer. The only catch is you have to select the date upfront and available only until May

Weekend dates are available and there were plenty to choose from when I booked my tickets today. You have to buy one newspaper everyday as different codes from the same day won't be accepted.

I have not started collecting - can anybody who purchased tickets confirm if there are weekend tickets available. Just looked at the digital option, which is available for either £8 for 8 weeks or £6 per week. No, each code printed is unique for that specific day so when booking it will bring up an error message.

The codes need to be from different days so need to collect 4 separate days newspaper. They are also in "The Times" which is £1.40.

The Sunday Times had that in Money or Travel Section (towards the bottom right).

We went to legoland Windsor last October and it was great. Most queues were 10min or less (many no queue) longest was about 15min. However this was term time as my kids are under 5. Quite probably different in school holidays.

I don't know anyone in their right minds that would go during school holidays. We don't go early in the year, always during the summer season when the splash park is open as well.
We went on a Tuesday in June, a Monday in July and didn't queue for longer than 20 minutes (boat driving).
It's always busier during holiday, the kids went with family to see the fireworks there and that was very busy but they still did alot of the rides.

The only way to do legoland is with v cheap entry tickets and then spend the money saved on their qbot. Yes everyone hates you and its a fast pass for the rich but its the only way I will ever go back. Went 2 years ago on an inset day and found out so did the rest of the country by the looks of it. Took 50 mins to buy a ticket at the front door , even more queing for any rides. The Qbot app works on phones and told us the length of time of the queues on each ride so we could plan which to q in for real and which to q bot in. Meant we werent queueing for more than 20 min for any ride. Other bit of good feedback for legoland was that as it was so busy they kept the park open for another hour after it should have shut, even better news was that all the little kids and parents had gone by then so we have more fun. Oh and park in the extra expensive car park is also a most as we queued in the "normal" car park for 2 hours just to get back to the main road. Kids enjoyed themselves every time we have been and that makes it worth the hassle

We went Legoland Winsor & enjoyed it. Yes it was busy all the theme parks are. We got there when they were just opening so managed to go on quite a few rides quite quickly.
They loved the submarine seeing the fish swim around you - esp the shark! Also take swim costumes if going in the summer the water park is fun!. They also loved getting their driving licence....

Why are you basing it on Legoland Manchester ? The one in Manchester is Legoland Discovery and it's all indoors and quite small.

I believe the offer is for Legoland Windsor which is totally different and the tickets are normally priced £40+.

The problem is there are enough new families who've never been each year with the "it can't be that bad" attitude to keep this place at max profit forever. Hell on earth, only surpassed by Hyde Park Winter Jokerland.

In the summer holidays its so busy that you spend all day frantically looking for your child, even when they are only a couple of feet from as you are pushing through swarms of people a lot of the time.

You are completely right. It happened with me once. Luckily I had the receipt which showed the date and time when I bought the newspaper and its code was used hours before. So if you want to go to legoland then buy your own paper and use that code. Why people want everything for free. Anyway if you buy the newspaper you still pay the fraction price

If it's an unique code, then you could be stealing from someone else. I had this done to me last year with the sun newspaper. Customer services didn't want to know, so I had the hassle of rushing to the shops to buy another newspaper at the last minute. If it's the same code printed in all papers, someone will post the codes on here or MSE saving you the hassle.

did anyone read the text in the pic? It says first code in the Sunday Times meaning the following 3 codes are on Mon-Weds. Don't think you can just buy 4 papers on the same day

Agree, took my brother in laws family on their last visit. Whilst it was a weekend, it was also October, yet the place was rammed. We managed a total of 1 ride and a minor ride at that. We ended up giving up and just walking around, they did enjoy lego world, but thats only because it was the first time.

On previous visits they've been to the other sites including the Merlin parks, but as they have a kid now who was 2 at the time, Legoland seemed the best bet. Big mistake, would have been better off going Chessington.

This year we have Merlin passes as our Daughter is 2. But despite being only 20 mins from LegoLand I doubt we'll bother if that visit was representative.
