Had a few declined cashbacks through quidco recently. Coincidentally all reasonable amounts. Good deal if they pay out.

Quidco will double the difference of the cashback rate offered by a rival UK cashback site (for example if a rate of 8% is advertised by a retailer on Quidco and 10% is offered elsewhere by that same retailer with the same stipulations, Quidco will increase the cashback by 4%, thereby upping the total cashback rate to 12%)
Quidco’s ‘double the difference’ Highest Cashback Guarantee will be applied to all retailers aside from those in the following categories: travel, utilities, finance, insurance, telecoms, subscription services, gambling, bingo, casino, poker and sportsbook.
In the aforementioned categories a maximum 10% top up will be applied to retailer rates. In these cases we will beat the advertised cashback rate on a rival UK cashback site by 10% (for example, 10% will be increased to 11%)

Great discount if it works!
I'd suggest confirming on online chat before purchasing so you've got it in writing. I did similar prior to doing a big amount cashback guarantee recently. They later confirmed it but at a lower amount but convince them to pay as they'd already agreed it in the chat.

This would bring the LG OLED65B6V down to ~£2300, compared to ~£2640 if bought via TopCashback, which is obviously quite a difference...Can anybody see a way that Quidco could try to weasel their way out of paying out?
One T&C that concerns me is regarding not paying in conjunction with other offers - this TV currently includes a free sound bar, so is best to just play safe and go with TCB?

voting cold, As has been said, Quidco=Cowboys, I've had deal posts turned down by HUKD from established UK stores because of one technicality or another, Yet deals relating to these rip-off merchents still get the thumbs up.
And they won't try and weasel out, They just won't pay you and leave it at that.

same thing for me. as long as HUKD are making money they don't care. sometimes I post a deal, it's removed, then a month later similar deal is posted, only difference is it now has some sort of tracking/affiliate link so that HUKD make money off each sale. HUKD is often more about advertising deals that make them the most money from sales through their links. it really annoys me!!!!!!

Hey all,
Great to see you all interested in making use of our Highest Cashback Guarantee service. Just a few responses to your posts:
@boofuls1 & @Henlans - You are both right; Cashback with Argos will not be paid for Reserve & Collect purchases... So the payment has to be made online rather than in-store so we can track that.
@twinkle - Argos will take around 3 months to process automatically tracked cashback, and 4 months with claims (from the date the claim was raised). If that hasn't happened yet, we'll already be on the case trying to get that for you as delayed cashbacks are a pain. I'm glad to see that you've managed to get 4 of your 5 Quidco £10 bonuses.
@scottishpunter - That comes as a result of TCB offering 15% for TVs over 449 whilst the rate on our site is 1.05%... We then double the difference (between both rates) of 14% to make 28% and add the 1.05% on our site to make the mentioned 29% rate.
@LankyChris - Sorry to hear that.. The good news is that we will always chase incorrectly paid cashback when the rate don't uplift to the correct amount.
@steveymp - We will work to make sure that we get any delayed cashbacks sorted for you, so that your bonuses get paid too. Do not hesitate to get in touch with our support team via your Support Tab or on Twitter/ Facebook at any time to check for any updates/ movement with those cashbacks.
Kind Regards,
Joseph

I'd say take screenshots of the rates when you buy as I doubt quidco will let it go very long before matching the TCB percentage.
Quidco always been good for me, earned almost a grand over the years and I don't even use it that much. TCB on the other hand took almost a year to get my first pay-out (after many emails) and most of the times it never tracks with them for some reason so I stick to Quidco personally.
Had a lot of issues with Quidco lately these offers never seem to track at the correct amount. To be fair to them they have always rectified it but not without a lot of tickets going back and forth. Just screenshot everything to be on the safe side.

I am going round in circles with Quidco customer support at the moment who just seem to keep sending me copy and paste answers, they advertised 10% cash back off all tv's over £1000 at Currys a few months back, cracking deal I thought, made the TVs cheaper than anywhere else, I bought a £3700 tv expecting somewhere in the region of £370 cash back, needless to say it didn't come to fruition, for some reason it tracked at £2900 (but they tell you to ignore amount) the cash back was paid only recently but they gave me £29 which is 1% rather than the 10%, when I raised a support case they just keep telling me that they didn't get paid by Currys so can't pay me, end of. Don't rely on the cashback or the advertised amounts as it seems they can just say anything and advertise any offer at any amount and then play the 'it's not our fault' card when you get scammed. Personally I don't know how they can get away with it, it feels like they are blatantly misleading you, the kind of thing you would expect from rogue traders, advertising an offer then refusing to honour it ! But won't tell you why, it leaves a bitter taste. Rant over.

I must say that my personal experience has been dreadful. any excuse to delay payments even though I understand its the retailers but when it clearly shows for example a £50 cash back and to only get half and to be told the reason is because I didn't meet the guidelines is complete bull crap. I'm sure others wouldn't of had these kind of experiences but they can suck a duck (quidco)

I will forward to ASA too, will be interesting to see their response, I can't believe a company like Quidco can get away with advertising something as blatant as 10% cashback, but then backing down and denying any responsibility AFTER the deal has been paid for.
brindy66
23 Feb 171#47
send your complaint to the ASA.
I don't intend to back down, I am currently awaiting a further response from Currys, I just need a simple reason or explanation as to why it has not been paid as advertised, once I have established the reason and who is resposible for not paying I can then start a court claim for the amount owed to me, I have used the small claims court before and it worked in my favour, the courts hate false advertising. The problem I have at the moment is that Currys initial response is that they have paid the referral fee to Quidco but won't confirm the agreed percentage as they say that is between them and Quidco, Quidco just say they haven't been paid so someone is telling porky pies. Just need to find out who.

Sounds similar to the issue I had with them, Bought a new TV from Currys during their Black Friday week sale, I think the regular cashback rate was 5% (I may be wrong as it is going back a few months now) But at one point Quidco increased it to 10% which Is when I purchased TV.
Had problems first with it tracking at all, then it got added at 1%, they then told me it would be corrected later, it wasn't.
Eventually I got 5% back after many tickets raised and said that was the maximum Currys would pay, and the rest is paid by Quidco as the bonus 5% was their offer not Currys'. I eventually got the full amount but I had to raise a lot of tickets to get it.
So if you purchased at the same time as me, it sounds like Quidco should be topping up the extra if they have had their payment from Currys. Hope you get somewhere with the ASA as there is clearly something not right going on at Quidco.
I still have 2 tickets open with them for other transactions, both of which had "bonus" cashback offers, neither tracked at the correct amount, they probably hope you forget about them, and they go on for so long Quidco claim to have no record of what they have offered.
I use TCB mostly by default now for a good few years now, as I have never had issues with them.

Not sticking up for Quidco but if Argos paid 1% then you can't expect Quidco to pay 10% but really should say to Argos you either pay what you said or we won't advertise you're site on Quidco. In regards to the hcg offer then they would have to pay it. If you see what I mean as that's a deal between u and Quidco

If you find a higher applicable cashback rate for your purchase on any other UK cashback site, Quidco will double the difference.
http://www.quidco.com/highest-cashback-guarantee/
Topashback are offering 15% and Quidco 1% so why not buy that TV you want.
Cashback is never 100% but as long as it tracks it will be well worth it.
Go via http://www.quidco.com/argos/?st=argos
Not sure how they calculate it but speaking to Quidco they said that you will get
Courtney:
"The rate will be 27.17% providing you meet the offer, you can raise this with this link: https://www.quidco.com/new-enquiry/highest-cashback-guarantee"
Which is pretty good in my opinion!
