I've never had any problems returning goods to Lidl stores. If I were you I'd contact their customer service department directly.

got one last time at this price and i wouldn't read to much into the warranty, broke after just a few uses, took back to store, they told me to contact the company on the warranty card and they wanted me to ship it off to them in Ireland if i remember correctly. I'm sure it's just standard procedure but i didn't bother in the end, lot of messing about and shipping expense just for a £15 food processor. if i buy it from a store then the store should sort out any problems that arise imo.
