I did, I had no idea this fish came from a manky river. I've thrown out the 2 packs in my freezer. Such a shame as it tasted lovely but I feel a bit sick now wóndering what I've eaten.

Honestly you guys these are great and if I could get these for a pound each I would fill my freezer with them. For a family of four these are excellent value. Hot
excellent value

Horrible. Take away the lemon and herb and you are left with a horrible tasting fish
Watch out. Aldi are selling it too

Also watch out for your local 'dodgy' chippy trying to pass Basa of as cod after they batter it.
There have been numerous trading standards prosecutions and warnings.

Basa AKA River cobbler & Pangasius.
Disgusting cat fish from Vietnam and surrounding areas.

Basa = River cobbler
Not a pleasant piece of fish in my opinion, I wouldn't even pay £1 for it. Each to their own though, I'm sure this is a hot deal for some.
