I had the model above this and sold it. The bass was all over the place and it was nearly a rumble (I used to have REL so annoyingly any sub I buy will compared with that).

Use this with a quite top-endish Yamaha PianoBlack Micro-system for TV audio. Set at the right level, it gives subtle bass enhancement without sounding artificial. I paid £69 at Richer Sounds.

I bought this last January for the same price from Richer Sounds, and it gives out a really good sound when coupled with 2 side speakers.

Yamaha RX-A3030 and Nakamichi AVP Power Amp powering MS Aviano 8 surround speaker package. Sounds Awesome :sunglasses:
The PB16 Ultra is new to the SVS range. This supersedes my powerhouse so might be time for an upgrade :man:
I'm also on the lookout for a good surround system. That yamaha 1810 that's been linked to, how would it benefit from this if it already has a sub?

This is a great sub. I have one in my bedroom but you wont be annoying any neighbors with it. You will need to spend a least 5x this much to annoy the neighbous and at least 10x to have them coming around knocking on your door.
My SVS PB13 Ultra in the lounge gets cranked up when ever my Neighbors want to get in to an Audio battle :smirk:

Cris_kis1, what have you got running with this beast/surround set up or separates? Don't know why I'm asking can't justify big bucks grrrrrrrrr Guttediam :disappointed:

I have this with Polk Audio T1600 and a Yamaha RX V677. I preferred this to the subwoofer that came with the Polks. It's not one to shake the room but the bass was a lot cleaner. I bought it for about £120, this is a bargain.

Yes I've got a Yamaha soundbar and also wonder if I could do with this?....

If your soundbar doesn't have a sub already then you should get a significant improvement. Both companies are good with returns if you aren't impressed
50w, yeah. No idea about the rest of the system though, sorry
