Xenoblade Chronicles is an epic role-playing game which takes place on an immense game world on the remains of two giant titans, and features fast-paced real-time battling. The game heavily focuses on exploring vastlandscapes and immerses the player into the game with cinematic cut scenes. Amazing game only just bought it at Argos it's still this price! And Iv ditched all my other games I was juggling in favour of this beautiful sounding, looking and playing game.
I think it may be the best RPG I have ever played!

I think this game has some excellent music in it, and I like the British accents! Bad lip synching though

has anyone picked up a copy of this game? twice I've been to pick up my reservation and both times the game has been sealed by Nintendo but with no cartridge in. Now being refused a refund as they think I'm a criminal. literally walked out the store and straight back in!

The reason why this is a compelling option is because, I don't have much free time to play on the Wii, but if I have a N3DS and pick up this I can whip it out and play when I have the odd 20 mins free or half an hour.
Also, Wiimotes eat my batteries like they are nothing!

Use 2300 or 2500 MAh high spec or similar Energiser rechargeable batteries. They will pay themselves back quickly and they last longer than your standard batteries. Great investment for my 4 x Wii U motes and other things around the house. That is just my favoured brand of course, plenty other brands and specs available to choose from.

just went to pick my copy up and there was no game inside! it had the Nintendo wrapping on albeit slightly torn on the corner. they are having to order another one.

Buy this. Buy a N3DS. Play it. Realise it's not as good as the Wii version. Never play it again.

yikes, I forgot about the snes vc games. bit pricey imo (although I have bought a few) Shame regular 3ds owners cant enjoy them. Poor form by Nintendo but emulation can suck resources as we know so that was the reason more than likely as has been mentioned before. Still.

Out of interest what doesn't work on the old 3ds with this title? Isn't it the only one that was tied to the new hardware on release?

just a little less oomph in the older 3ds models. Think its just this and The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth that are new 3ds only. Hyrule warriors legends is available for all 3ds models but really only recommended on a new 3ds. (imvho)

The New 3ds has a higher spec processor than the original 3ds model. Most software released since the New 3ds has remained compatible with the original model but Xenoblade Chronicles 3ds REQUIRES the New model. It will not work on the old model. As otterbox states above, the Binding of Isaac download also requires the New model (and the SNES Virtual Console does too), and Hyrule Warriors 3ds is barely playable on the original model. Apart from that I don't think there are any important differences.

Finally fair money. There was a window not far after release when not many new3ds's were selling that this could be had pretty cheap on ebay. With so many more owners those days are long gone. Heat for the price but if you've played it on the wii its a bit disappointing obvs.
Still amazed they fitted it onto a little cart though.
