Price match on the Argos and Amazon deals I would imagine. Great price and even better if your loyalty points currently sit with Game.

If you don't own this, BUY IT! It's simply amazing the DLC isn't necessary (unless you want more cars) shame the car pass costs as much as the game  heat added Buzz

Excellent game and decent price. I was lucky and got the Amazon deal the other week for the ultimate version of this. Playing on PC with a racing wheel is good too.... just look online for the best wheel settings first.

I saw you on the forza forums... you had same issue with the broken DLC, I spent 3 hours on live chat with Microsoft trying to sort it before I worked it out myself!!
crazy!

this is a corking game, id never played an horizon title and Im now playing all four at the same time, switching between them. Love them all.

Playing all 4? Have I missed something? Only recently became an Xbox one owner and love these games. Bought the first 2 on Ebay, what a bargain. I don't really begrudge paying extra for the DLC when a game is this good.

Yep, I spent ages with Microsoft, they wanted me to uninstall stuff on my PC, then upgrade windows (even though I had the problem on xbox and my pc, and the xbox store website.... Eventually found that my DLC was working in game, just looked like I didn't own it in the store.

Shame the expansion pack for blizzard mountain is so expensive.
I myself got lucky with the ultimate edition but find it ridiculous it doesn't include all dlc.
Watching them blizzard mountain videos, it looks right up my street so will no doubt just buy it anyway.

The DLC model really isn't the greatest, especially considering the car pass only includes 6 packs and there's normally 8/9 packs. Then you have to buy the expansions separately (the pass for expansions is £30) but the second expansion is rumoured to be the Porsche pack (look at the leak from last week, pretty much shows all the possible DLC, even the Corsa VXR is coming so you can be a yobbo in the game  )

1st time playing Forza and played this a lot recently and even though i've done the last showcase i'm only at about 25% total completion, its excellent value and don't forget the fast travel perk will save you a ton of time if you only have limited time to play.
Addicted to the barn finds!!!
I'm soooo tempted with blizzard mountain but might wait to see if it comes down in price a little.

Just started the game on another account thanks to my son robbing my xbox account.
Play it on PC and just having so much fun in my subrau.
I'm I right in thinking that even though I have the ultimate edition you still have to use in game credits to buy the cars?

If you dont have it just buy it already  I've clocked about 130 hours since release and although I don't play it much at the moment (too little time and too many games) its well worth your money. I do just begrudge paying £30 for 2 expansion packs, even if blizzard mountain does look amazing.

I'm at about 30% complete on this, found all the barns and been busy with the XP and travel boards, fantastic game and well worth getting this game as part of your XBox One games collection.
Anyone have any idea how to get the boards located on top of building etc..? this is the only thing I'm struggling on at the moment..

Hi
You need to build speed up and hit a bump in the road at the right angle get on top of buildings. You also need smaller cars for some... on on 25% and on 487/488 roads

Really dodgy and janky jumps for the most part. Can take quite a few attempts.

Cars in the DLC gives you a free one to add to your garage, after that you have to pay with credits/tokens (tokens are an another thing, don't get me started :stuck_out_tongue: ) but yeah, first ones free but cars in the base game have to be bought (or acquired from wheel spins)

Got the cheap Amazon Ultimate edition a few days ago, brilliant game, however I feel as if the car DLC's remove a lot of progression from the game, as I have pretty much every car I'll ever need accessible to me from the beginning. Plus double cash from the VIP and as of a few hours in I don't feel I'll ever struggle to afford upgrades etc.
TLDR I think the standard edition is a better buy as it means you may actually have a bit of a challenge getting all the cars and things you want.

can you do split screen multiplayer on any racing games nowadays?

Have to agree as far as dlc is concerned, its just not necessary, after a few hours you can drive round in a lambo aventador etc, upgrades are cheap, maybe too cheap. I have loads of cars and ive only played about 14hrs
Weapon of choice now is subaru imp wrx with auto upgrade to 900odd bhp. Knocks the socks off anything tbh

Mine is the Audi S2 sport Quattro. upgraded to the max and cost 50,000 credits in the auctions section, which is a cheap way to buy cars

A few others have already said it, but if you're on the fence just buy it. I'd go as far as to say it's maybe the best racing game I've ever played - and I've played a lot going back to Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix on the PC!

I tried again last night. I do like it, I think it's a really good game. It's just not for me unfortunately.
I prefer my racing sims to arcade racers (apart from the early NFS games). Don't get me wrong, I see the greatness in it. I just don't like driving 150mph in a Lambo, hit a car and watch it bounce off as I only drop 10mph
