After the god awful Advanced Uber Skillz Jumpy Mechanical Warrior Super Spin No Scope of Duty's Activision have pumped out in the last 3 years, I've now gone back to this one on PS4. Still over 3000 players on every night, not sure what it's like on Xbox servers but I'm really enjoying the boots on ground multiplayer on this game again. I really hope IW's lackluster sales and bad press make SledgeHammer games rethink the direction and bring us something more like World at War or CoD2/3.

Unfortunately for original cod gamer like myself in their 30s and over, the 16 and below age range seem to be Activisions primary target and therefore the glitz and bling just keeps getting shinier with every release.

I'm just glad we were given Battlefield 1 this year or it would have been a bad year for FPS games.

Well worth that price for the campaign, imo.

Campaign is pretty darn good, I'm really enjoying it at the moment, shame can't find the season pass for a reasonable price, I'd like it for the extra alien invasion maps.

The gold edition is £18.15 on xbox with gold for the next six days, which includes the first DLC, onslaught.

On second thoughts £12 extra for one DLC aint worth it.

OK. I'm 90% sure it comes with the first DLC pack 'Onslaught' (sorry, I have other stuff in there).

Onslaught is a downloadable pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts. It is the first DLC to come out for Ghosts. It was released on January 28, 2014 and first on Xbox 360 and Xbox One and Febuary 27, 2014 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. It contains four multiplayer maps (Fog, Ignition, BayView and Containment) and Episode 1 of the Extinction story, Nightfall. It includes two bonus weapons: the Maverick assault rifle and the Maverick-A2 sniper rifle. It has a blue color scheme in the 2nd Season Pass trailer.

I just bought it and got two codes.

The second one I redeemed was for extra content,

"Call of Duty®: Ghosts,Call of Duty: Ghosts Digital Hardened Edition,Call of Duty®: Ghosts".

I'll see what that entails when I get home tonight.

No not at all! Any DLC is better than none (most of the time) but some map packs would've been a nice bonus..

when you redeem this, go to store and search for onslaught pack you should be able to download for free.

I usually buy the standard edition after a while they seem to pull them from store and replace with gold edition.

if it doesn't work at first make sure you load the game to make sure the game tile has changed from standard to gold.

If you think Ghosts is better than Blops 3 you need serious professional help and fast. Blops 3 is easily the best game in the franchise as 4 hasn't aged well and MW2 was a ****.

This is the gold edition, which includes the crappy xbox pack, not all dlc. Ah well, still a great price.

​My guess is that you are between 12 & 24 years of age. Which is why you believe Blops3 is the best in the franchise. You were clearly too young to understand that CoD2 is and always will be the best CoD. No ranks, no killstreaks, no jumpy walls, no diamond encrusted skins for weapons (oh my lord why did that become a thing) and no children singing Justin biebers greatest hits over the mic.

Mate I'm 23. COD2? LOL. Your a hipster then choosing a game no one even gives a crap about and claim is the best. Black ops 3 is a very good game with a lot content. It has 2 campaigns, brilliant multiplayer that is only beat by Titanfall 2 and a decent zombies mode as well as a few extra co op modes. The gameplay and shooting feel very satisfying which is proof by being one of the most played PS4 and Xbox games. You just have crap taste in games.
