It's a great game, not average by any means.
Hope they port it over to the Switch as i no longer have a Wii U.

Your gonna have a whale of a time with that lot. Don't forget Splatoon also, if you shop around can often get it for £20 or less. Did see it in ASDA instore recently for £15. Of course you may get a 2nd hand copy cheap too. Have fun!

What game is? Seriously. While arguably not as good as SMG 1 & 2, still (for me) makes the top 10 videogames released - that I've played - this gen. Yes, unlike some, I don't troll OR praise a game unless I've played (minimum) 5 hours, roughly.

Best family game on the Wii-U that is, had our lot entertained for months. 4 playing at a time. Stuck on Bowsers castle at the end though :-(

I was just stating my opinion. Yes I've played it through. I was so disappointed in it and although I knew it wasn't a fully 3d world platformer, I believe it fell way short of any previous 'proper' Mario games. Don't be offended if people don't agree with you... I certainly don't.

If it's anything like mario galaxy it's probably gonna be super easy and tedious. Mario Galaxy is so overrated it makes no sense, next to no improvements since mario 64.. Mario odyssey has finally made some improvements like an open world (took em long enough) but even that game looks 10 years old already.

They had this on the shelf at Sainsburys before Christmas for £17.99 but when I took it to the counter to pay it went through as £14.65! Bargain. I only bought the Wii U to play this game as me and my wife loved playing Super Mario Sunshine, Galaxy & Galaxy 2 and wanted another game to play like them. Also bought Super Mario Bros. U as well which is good, but for some reason Mario runs a lot slower than in 3D World.

Still wanting to get a wii u for games like this, to play with my kids. We have original wii currently and games like Super Mario Bros Wii are great. Shame it is currently difficult to get hold of a brand new Wii U at a good price. Probably have to get a second hand console.
