2TB should be useful for porn collection other than not being compatible with the PS4 lol

Loads on display at Ashby De La Zouch but no actual stock in the back. Not helped by the clueless individual on the electrical desk either.
An in store stock check revealed that there's no stock in the Loughborough store either.
Has anyone found any stock in the Midlands?

People saying this isn't a deal....Was in Saintsbury tonight and they are offering 2TB Sea(yourdataneveragainwhenthisinevitablycrashesandburns)gate external USB3.0 drives in their clearance section for £69. There are few and far between most reliable hard drive manufacturers than Western Digital.

Just in case anyone wants to know, Tesco Watford (the big superstore) has a large number of drives available from about £40.00 to £60.00 - all reduced to clear.

Attention! This will NOT work with your PS4 for anyone who is buying it to pull the drive out of it!
The drive is not the 2.5", it is thicker, and the USB interface is SOLDERED onto the hard drive itself!
Halbeath Extra still has the 2TB black for £60 with quite a few on the shelf - the coloured ones are £64 for some reason!
They also have the 3TB for £92.
Whilst I do agree that these should be a lot cheaper - the crux is that this isn't a bad deal at current prices!

Given there were big fabrication problems a couple of years ago (https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2011/oct/25/thailand-floods-hard-drive-shortage) causing a shortage they inflated the price on all drives across the board.
Unfortuately since then the prices have remained inflated.
The best deal i got as of late was the 4TB WD drive that popped up on here a couple of months ago for £60.
Anthing over £20 per TB for such antiquated technology is scandalous. I'm not joking when i say this should be half the price.

It's not quite the going rate but not far from it.
If anything 2TB drives should be much less than this by now, they are totally ripping us off even with this price.
I remember paying prices similar to this even 4-5 years ago.
Paid less than this from Amazon a couple of years ago, not on offer. Rarely do you see them go above this price so i'm not sure why people would go on "wild goose chases" for these things.
Given the stagnant prices of hard drives the last few years I wouldn't consider this a deal at all. If anything its the going rate.
As for the drive its adequete enough but nothing special

Great customer service with WD, dropped a drive couldn't fix it as it has some sort of proprietary encryption that locked the drive to any attempt to deep format. Replaced without question.

If anyone is after a 2TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive & can't get one of these take a look at the Seagate one from Argos for £62.99.

I can confirm this, was just in the big tesco in Loughborough, there were a few 2TB's left and loads of 1TB ones which were also reduced, cant remember the exact price but the I think the 1TB ones were around £45 of the top of my head. However only the black colour of this was £60, the other coloured 2TB ones were £64. Hope this helps someone.

No, they are USB 3.0, small laptop sized hard drive inside, therefore are powered by USB port.
