been playing this on PC recently, personal opinion is it's pretty boring if just playing it on your own, it's good for a quick run through 15-20 mins to kill some time but i don't find myself wanting to come back to it quickly. I think the real value on here is playing with a couple of mates to make it more fun.
That said the games i've played with randoms the other players have been pretty good, knowledgeable and a pleasure to play with. This is on the PC version which was under a tenner, not sure i'd pay much more than that myself. I liked it better than the new space hulk game though.

Randoms on Xbox One have been 83% useless bordering on the embarrassing.
Solid when played with friends

Excellent - thanks!
Since I already have Space Hulk Ascension which is a really sloppy bug ridden mess on PS4 I have been a bit wary of another Warhammer game...

Off the top of my head - poor matchmaking, controls that would not invert, indestructible rats and people falling through the maps meaning you couldn't complete missions!
Like I say I know there have been some patches so hopefully its more a case of whether there is an active player base. I know there is a DLC drop soon so that may help.
If you do play it Id be interested to know your opinion!

I had been keeping an eye on the Fatshark forums and there was a massive moan-a-thon a while back as the console game was released broken.
I know there has been at least one patch but its all gone quiet on their forums now which may mean its all sorted or (more likely?) everyone's moved on!
I do want either this game or Killing Floor 2 as a Left for Dead substitute but still dithering...

I actually have this sealed sitting on my shelf. Will give it a go on weekend and will let you know if it is broken or not. What exactly was the issue?

Killing Floor 2 is pure awesomeness. It was quite buggy on release but mostly very stable now and a robust player base. It's a big improvement on the first game, which I also adored!
EDIT: I played it on PS4 BTW.

Anyone know what the state of the game is on PS4 at the moment? Have all the issues been sorted out now and are there still plenty of players?

Not sure how many tbh, but Co-optimums suggests this is ranked #71 in terms of popularity on PS4. STeam charts shows an approximate 2000 PC players online in past 24 hours. Hope that helps.
