There are 2 bush phones at the same price with, what looks to me, the same or better specs.
Any advice?

I wouldn't bother with any Bush model, regardless of price.
They are poorly built, and usually have software issues due to a total lack of optimisation. The cameras are always terrible too. Plus they don't get OS or security updates.

Other than the OS being more up to date, what makes this better than the SU6? I've seen a lot of people saying they prefer the SD615 processor from the SU6 versus the Mediatek in this one.

I have the ultra 7 and not to impressed with it tbh seems to lag/freeze regular, had the ultra 6 before that and had charging problems with that and rubbish battery life, will defiantly keep away in future

This probably shows that its a problem with cheap Android phones in general, seeing as though each handset from a different manufacturer (SU6 = ZTE Blade S6 Lux, SU7 = Alcatel Pop 4S).

Gone for this, but couldn't get free delivery for some reason. Thanks for posting, seems like a cracking deal.
Sent my ultra 6 four times for repair due to a faulty headphone jack. Vodafone suck.

I sent mine back twice for issues, then the 2nd time they said it was water damaged.
I complained to the CEO and got an ultra 7 to replace the 6. I'm quite happy with it but totally **** off with vodaphone.

Had the Ultra then went for the Platinum. Platinum is so much better.
All the vodaphones cameras are brilliant during the day. Night photos are very average.
Responsive though considering.
2GB Ram might struggle if you are a heavy user.

Completely agree, Platinum is in a different league. Quickcomm 3.0 too so it charges super quick with the supplied charger! Screen and sound is amazing, camera is the only thing that could be better IMO but still good!

biggest problem with these phones is the micro USB charge port. its way too fragile. I see so many phones with this issue. USB C will remedy this once more companies been using it

my SU6 is 18 months old and has never missed a beat.... Don't think that the SU7 is any better tbh..... Marshmallow supposed to be coming to SU6 in next month...

Is the camera better on su7 then su6?
gsj87 to jaysexy212005
25 Jan 17#23
Now this is the question. I've had the SU6 for the last 18 months and in every aspect, it's been great, aside from the camera. In daylight, the picture quality is ok at best and my camera is now very laggy and slow. No point even trying to take a picture in night/low light conditions. My secondary phone is an iPhone 5c which beats it hands down (and it's not even a great phone).

The camera is just as bad IMO.
Basically unusable in low light.

There is a glitch in the ordering system. If you select Saturday Delivery and buy more than 1 phone the site gives you a large discount for every extra phone you buy. There shouldn't be any discounts when choosing Saturday Delivery.
The total cost of QuantumX's order should be £57 + £11.95 = £68.95. But the actual order total comes to £36.05 due to the glitched 'discount'.

I would personally not go for this over a Smart Ultra 6 due to the downgrade in the processor the SU6 had a Snapdragon 615 and the SU7 has a Mediatek MT6755M, the Snapdragon is still a better chip than any Mediatek equivalent or slightly higher rated MTK chip.

I just got an email from LG saying my out of warranty G4 is fixed and being returned to me. I will probably cancel my order and stick with my G4 for now. But still worried that it will start bootlooping in the future as there are many online threads which say they had a bootloop even after the repair.

Had the vodafone smart ultra 6, specs are very similar to this on first glance. Didn't even last a year before problems started. Dust preventing me from pressing anything on screen. Among other problems the phone crashed on startup and sometimes stayed like until the battery died. Camera was 0/10 could not take close up pics at all, other pics were blurry 50% of time......just a buyer beware
