That's a shame, maybe I got a bit lucky. No harm in trying more times, but I guess you've got to decide how much effort it's worth. £60 is still decent, I probably would've taken that! Good luck with your next attempt! Just to say, it does say on VEA terms and conditions that Quito/topcahsback not allowed.

Didn't work for me, got SIM and tried at least 3 different times and the most I got was £60 credit onto my account so refused and cancelled. May try with cashback, port number and then try and get VEA. I'd prefer the EE deal but my work phone is with Plusnet and I believe they use EE and I can't get a signal.

I think I quoted the £15 15GB virgin deal, but they didn't really ask for any detail, I just generally tried to make a point that it wasn't as good as other deals out there. After I got the £80 credited, I ported my number, then applied for VEA.

It worked perfectly for me. I signed up directly through Vodafone website, then as soon as I activated my sim, I rung up and complained that other companies were offering more competitive deals, and that even if I did stay with Vodafone, I would anyway cancel and reapply to get the £80 cashback, but basically saying that I was more likely to go elsewhere because of the hassle. She then put me on hold for like 30 seconds, then came back to tell me should could put £80 credit on my account immediately, which I gladly accepted. I then applied for VEA afterwards, and now my 25GB package with entertainment that was originally £25 per month works out at £11.67 per month for the year! Even if you fail first time, just keep ringing till you get it. :P

I was with Vodaphone when I took out the Netflix offer but left at the end of my contract for Virgin and I want to go back to Vodaphone now, port number over etc.
Last time I was lucky, the cashback tracked and I got the VEA discount. I'm not convinced this will work again so I'm considering going down the line of taking out the £22.20 a month directly, then when my SIM comes ring up to say I'm cancelling as I can get £80 through cashback. Are people finding they get offered credit straight away, and then they can get the VEA discount on top? Or should I just try Quidco and hope for the best....

Yes because they've started putting something called Vodafone secure on automatically, its free for 3 months then it;s a pound a month. You can remove it on the Vodafone app or by cancelling when they send you a text about it at the end of the three months.

That is the spirit. I think most time people don't get better deal because we are so used to just getting content with what we are offered without pushing the limit. Tat is not to say there is anything wrong with been content if you happy to pay the price you are offered without negotiation. At the end of the day the value of a thing and the cost ratio pegged on that value is all in our mind.

I have this deal and I was told no further discount could be added I went to the online chat and said bt and virgin media do the same deal for £15 and if I do not get a better deal I will go to another provider they offered me 30% discount so I called the cancellation team and said I was offered that and they applied it their and then for 12 months so was £20 down to £14 a month and I told them to send me a text message to confirm this they did result  good luck guys

2 Mar 17#253
I definitely agree with your approach
. everything is all in the power of negotiation. I would not go with the hassle of E2SAVE. Don't have the energy and time for it if I can directly get credit from vodaphone. I am 25GB bundle and i will be paying £10/month with the £100 credit I have and 30% VEA =(no more than £110 I will pay for 12 months).
So keep negotiating people. And keep trying. With Vodafone I have come to learn everyone is not on same contract agreement. Some will pay more

2 Mar 17#250
**Managed to get a really good deal. Similar method already mentioned in the comments, but wanted to add that it worked for me too.
Applied for the 25GB bundle directly through Vodafone for £25 per month. As soon as my sim was activated, I called Vodafone retentions, told them that I'd just seen better offers from other networks (e.g Virgin) and also that I could get £80 through quidco/top cashback, so I said I would definitely be cancelling my contract, even if it was to re-apply through quidco, unless they could offer me some discount. She went on hold to speak to her manager for about 30 secs, then came back said she couldn't offer a discounted monthly rate, but would put £80 credit on my account, simple as that!!
After this I then added my VEA discount online, working out at £11.67 a month for the year (£10 membership fee included), with no cashback/redemption hassle and the free entertainment bundle!!
When I rung up asking for discounts, she surprising didn't asked whether I was VEA eligible, but they probably will quite often, so at that point you should say 'no, I don't believe so'. Then after you get the credit, you can just apply it online anyway.
Don't give up even if you don't get offered the same. Just ring up again and chances are you'll get it from someone else you speak to!

a cold deal as E2Save do the same deal for a lot less using cashback which is really easy to do
I'm paying just over 12 quid for the same deal and receive cashback every 2/3 months
I have 60 days to claim my cash back and you just sign into your voda account download the bill and attach the file on e2saves and receive a cheque within a week or two
they sell feel at home as amazing, but as I say, data speeds are proper rubbish

I'm overdue to renew my SIM only contract with Vodafone. Currently £8.50 for 5Gb, unltd mins/texts, no Spotify or anything. It's back to £17 now but I need to wait a bit until I'm a month away from my actual contract end, to provide more ammo for my online chat with retentions.
Unless I'm missing something this seems pricy? Or are people getting this deal at half price via retentions? I'd definitely go for that, even though 5Gb is more than enough data for me.

27 Feb 17#235
My contract was coming up for renewal and I tried several times, via online chat, to negotiate a better deal. They didn't do much, only gave me 1 month free even though I had already received my PAC code from them. I eventually accepted and upgraded from last years 20GB deal to the 25GB deal this year. I'm now wondering, if I would be better off leaving and re-joining as a new customer to take advantage of tab or quidco, as this will be higher than the free month they offered me. I'm now paying £25/month, assuming I get the VEA discount, that will come down to £17.50/month and taking into consideration the free month I will be paying £16.04 per month.
Will it work, if I leave and port my number to giffgaff and then as soon as it has ported, wait a day or so and sign up with Voda as a new customer via TCB/Quidco?
If I wait for the 12 weeks or so for TCB/Quidco to confirm and then apply the VEA discount, I might get the cashback but they may refuse the VEA. On the hand, I might not get any cashback and only the VEA, in which case it would of been a waste of time.

So spoke to online chat, who advised me that it was because there was a £1 discount for Secure Net (3mth free trial) he also confirmed that the VEA discount is applicable on that tariff. Iwas advised to ring through to returns to take off the £1 discount which has now been done & again it was confirmed that I should be eligible for the discount on that rate. So the upshot is I've had to go back instore and re-submit the application for the VEA discount and am now waiting again for it to be approved. I have also emailed the VEA helpdesk aswell and am awaiting their response. Thanks guys...I will post the outcome on here when I get it.

Did you tell them you want to renegotiate a better deal? If so, ring up again and tell them you're giving your 30 day notice and ask for your PAC. Make them believe you're about to leave. If they think you're just after a bit of a discount and you're staying with them anyway, they won't be overly bothered unless you catch someone in an extremely good mood.
If you did that already, feel free to ignore that  but do try again. Good luck

I just called retentions to renegotiate. I'm on the £20/20GB from last year. She wouldn't budge a penny. She'd only offer the same again despite me pointing out the Virgin Mobile deal. I have been on Red plan with Vodafone for the past year (switching from 02) and I all I can say is their customer service is absolutely top class. Maybe you folks with bad experiences have dealt with them in the past, but I can see why they're now rated as the top UK network. I've had a few times when I needed to call them while abroad to check things, and they've been great. And you get really fast and widespread 4G data roaming in most cities. Only suffers when you're out in the countryside of various regions. Great service right now! (and no I'm not a blooming employee).

The Mrs works for Waitrose so used her email to get the VEA code which took the 25GB package down to £17.50 online.

He's talking about roaming, i.e. abroad. Three despite offering Feel At Home, the speeds offered with the compatiable countries are throttled to 2G speeds, despite 3G/4G connection. Where as Vodafone abroad offer you full 4G in roaming countries stated in your contract.
Depends whether you deem 4G necessary for your needs. I'd typically get well over 10Mbit around London with Three, often a whole lot more with very respectable upload speeds. It's more than enough for most people.
r1biker
7 Feb 17#192
You'll get 4g speeds when roaming with Vodafone though. No sign of that on Three!

If i were in your shoes and Three signal is OK, i'd be inclined to stay put. 15GB/month average - there may be months where you need a bit more so you've got headroom there and won't need to keep checking how much data you've used (assuming it's not all tethering). I was on a similar package last year and probably would have stayed on it myself.

Guys is everybody confident of the quidco money paying out. Says ont he vodafone website "To take advantage, you must first order a Pay monthly bundle, or upgrade, directly through Vodafone. Purchases through partners such as Carphone Warehouse or Quidco don’t qualify. You’ll also need to pay a £10 membership fee, which lasts for the duration of your contract."
I've gone through topcashback with £70 tracked, says estimated to pay out in 12 weeks. I Haven't applied the VEA yet. If this doesn't pay out, you're better of going through mobiles.co.uk with topcashback & their own cashback. I'm not sure if I should wait 12 weeks to check that my topcashback pays out (by which time I'd be locked into the contract) or to cancel and go through mobiles.co.uk??

VEA is linked to the number and the tariff not the account, if you change your tariff or port your number you need to reapply for VEA after this has completed. If you did it before you ported your number over, you might get lucky and the discount stays on, but technically you haven't actually applied for a discount to that number so you should always reapply for the VEA just to cover yourself and to make sure nothing goes wrong.

I'm sim only and trying to buy the £25 package, when I add the Vodafone Advantage discount code it doesn't seem to do anything (I get an error if I remove a character). I spoke to Vodafone and they said you could only apply it after you take the upgrade which I'm sure wasn't the case last year then they said it couldn't be applied as this was a promotional item. Are people able to use their Vodafone advantage code when the package is in the basket?
I can't seem to resend the code but assume the one from last year should be valid.

I did everything online (applying the VEA discount and the number port) and everything went through without intervention except that I was unable to sign up for My Vodafone once my new SIM arrived. I called Voda about that both before and after my number port and I got all 3 of the people I spoke to to verify the 30% was still applied.
Now that I can get into the Vodafone app on my phone, I can see my monthly bill is £14 as expected. iNSOMANiAC seems to know a lot about Voda though and because of his/her concern about the VEA dropping off, I'll be keeping a very close eye on it.
The My Vodafone thing still isn't sorted though, when I try to log in, it tells me I haven't registered a number yet but when I go through that process, it says my number is already registered. One of the chaps on the phone created me a new username/pass combo but that just says "unrecognised username or password" as do my original credentials now.

How does the £10 fee for the VEA discount work?? Do they take it off your first bill or do you pay it separately?
I'm still in the 30 day period and will be ringing them to switch to the £17, 8gb data tariff (I don't really need 20GB!!) - do they offer any loyalty discount on these tariffs or is the cheapest option to go for VEA discount? (Currently getting 40% off sim only plan - paying £10.80 for 4gb data and ultd mins etc )
It's £11.90 for 8gb after VEA discount which is just about £1 more than what I'm currently on.

Well my move to Voda is all done (from Three). I can confirm that porting your number after initially signing up with the VEA discount does not knock the VEA off your account, I still have the 30% off applied afterwards.

I basically threatened to leave and re join vodafone and said that I was basically going to get the £60 quidco if I did this so they may as well save the hassle and give me the credit instead which they agreed to do...

No, VEA can only be applied if you buy direct from Vodafone.
The best you can do is Quidco/TCB and buy it direct, then apply for the VEA discount.
xbrumster
3 Feb 17#165
Threaten to leave. Saying you've seen better deals elsewhere, cash back, redemptions etc make it much cheaper than what you're paying now... they will prob say you have to wait for 30 days blah blah, but you insist you will save £££ much, and instead of paying 3rd party money why don't they reduce your monthly rental anyway, they will then, hopefully, offer something.
That's how I got my £50 credit...
Good luck

2 weeks ago I signed up for the 22gb £18.50 deal via the retentions team. After seeing this deal I rang the retentions team again. I told them about this deal and they said they could switch me over to it because I was in the 30 day period. I then asked about the quidco cashback and after a bit of haggling the assistant applied a £60 credit to my account.
I now have to apply for my VEA tomorrow which will bring this down to £17.50.
Minus the £60 credit makes this £12.50 a month.
Factor in the £10 for applying for VEA and then this is £13.33 per month.
Cracking deal! Worth ringing up and haggling IMO!

Here is a quick update.
From my previous post, I mentioned I stayed with them for another year 22Gb with 4gb roaming & entertainment package for £22.20 and 2 month free, which works out £18.5 / month.
Since this £20 deal is out, I called them to say third party is offering better deals with cash back & redemptions etc etc so rather than I go through all those lot, you may as well give me a better deal. They of course say you need to wait for another 30 days to port no blah blah but in the end, they put £50 credit on my account, which is another 2month and a bit free - works out around £14.8 a month.
So hope this helps.

You also seem to have missed the survey P3 did with full breakdowns of data rates etc.
They messed up massively on their billing as part of a systems overhaul, I wasn't hit by it fortunately. That issue aside, they're no better or worse than anybody else.
Compared to Virgin Media, they're saints as far as I'm concerned CS wise.
Ref 4G, you're aware Vodafone offer 4G+ and have much better spectrum than any other telco after buying the Qualcomm band, you're also aware that I'm much more likely to maintain a 4g connection indoors of Vodafone than with EE which lacks penetration.
Horses for courses, but in my book they're fine.
murkr
1 Feb 17#143
You seem to have missed the main part of my argument there. They are getting the most complaints by far, those numbers mean something. And getting 4G coverage, doesn't mean it will be any good.
Anyway, each to their opinions, however as the complaints numbers suggest more are against them than the others.

Vodafone C/S are a joke. The signal in London I could not fault compared to BT/EE.
My contract ended 15/12/16 and my november bill covered this periods rental and amount was taken by D/D. I pac'd my number out before 15/12 and even though I'd paid the full 12 months line rental I was charged and early exit fee of £22.
Always use online chat and get an emailed copy. The guys who call you from asia just want to talk for ages and just end up wasting your time. You can't legally charge someone for leaving when they've paid the entire 12 month contract in full before PAC'ing the number but vodafone think they can.....I'd been with them 4 years.....Shocking C/S
Down to £14 if you buy via E2save/mobiles.co.uk via cashback by redemption
The_Hoff
1 Feb 17#140
They're second in the UK for 4G coverage behind EE so I'm not sure how they've slipped behind. EE were the first to market.
murkr
1 Feb 17#139
I'm sure even string and cups would get good signal in London. I never said they were perfect, and I never said it would not be for everyone.
I was a Vodafone customer for about 5-6 years, they USED to be probably the best network in the UK. In the last 2 years or so they have slipped behind, especially with 4G
Their customer service is terrible, they can't seem to get their billing system correct and on top of that they have had the most Ofcom complaints over the last 2 years, they have always been fairly high but during this period they have been by far above any other provider. If they are not so bad, why do their customers complain so much, so much so that it goes as far as Ofcom. I was one of these customers, they preferred me to go to Ofcom instead of sending me a sure signal. That ended very badly for them.
About 65% 4g coverage is shocking. Not only that, their 4G speeds aren't worth having in most places.

How is everyone getting the VEA? I have tried to input my code however it doesn't do anything at all... doesn't say it's been declined or accepted...
The_Hoff
1 Feb 17#112
Well, wording is down the interpretation but typically the values in Quidco are thresholds in order to meet a certain cashback value. Typically any tariffs that fall in between will be caught by the lower value.
There's a rate for example at "12 month SIMO contracts for £22" which only started at midnight last night. Browsing their SIMO contracts (of any duration) there are no contracts at £22. I'm therefore expecting the £25 tariff here will be caught by the £22.00, assuming my VEA doesn't balls it up, otherwise the next tier down is "12 month SIMO contracts for £15" which will instead pay £50 and make the monthly payments £13.33.
All that being said, if Quidco doesn't pay I won't feel too wounded. This is the best deal I can see for this amount of data and a £10 saving on what Spotify would otherwise cost me.
The_Hoff
1 Feb 17#111
No issues. Do you mean the VF summary page on Quidco that displays the rates? I completed it on W10 using Edge if it helps, may be worth restarting your device and making sure you have Adblock or any extensions disabled.

You are right in waiting for upgrades for Vodafone but not for 3 network. Im into 1 month 2 weeks of a sim only deal via Three. Before I was on a 30g data, unlimited texts with 200mins only for a £15 (12 month contract)
Ive now changed to unlimited data with 30gigs tethering for £18.00 no restarting of the contract. A friend of mine changed same contract as mine from 30gb down to 20gb but upped to 5,000 mins talk time and still kept the same £15.00 per month sim only contract deal with Three. All within a month. Oh and the signal plus 4g speed was SUPERIOR to a crummy sim-only Vodafone deal i canceled previously!

Can confirm vodafone is offering similar deal one way or another.
Been with voda since last time they offered 20gb for £20 deal. Signal is good in Bham area, 4g has been faster than EE & 3. e.g. Me & friends on group chat and I'm almost always the first one to get messages compared to those on EE or 3. General phone signal is also good here.
My contract is ending so requested PACode and their retention team called and offered the following:
Unlimited txt/voice
22GB 4G data & 4G EU roaming
12month Spotify / NowTV / Sky Sports
£22.20 a month with 2 month free, £222 in total = £18.50/month equivalent
Their Jan deal is not good enough compared to BT £15 or 3's £18 but their retention offer is good enough so I'm staying with them for another year. I travel to Wales often and voda is the only provider in that area with good signal.
Hope this helps.

31 Jan 171#65
I'm really hoping this is genuine as my contract is about to expire and I just want the same deal again. I did try VEA last year and it didn't work, no harm in trying again this time as it's a good deal without it. I've had no issues getting 4G and up here in the Highlands, I can get a Vodafone signal when others can't get anything at all so happy to stick with them.
Their CS are awful but I've had awful customer service from all the other networks as well, O2 in particularly were appalling after accidentally billing me a year's line rental on a cancelled contract, advising me to reverse it with my bank for speed then sent debt collectors after me for the money. While they may not have any legal powers, the flood of letters and calls is not pleasant and no-one in O2 gave a damn despite it being entirely their mistake. I had similar fun with Orange when they also made a complete and utter mess of a contract cancellation.

Sorry voted COLD from me...Voda treated me and other customers with contempt last year 2016 when I went for their 12mth 20gb data and unlimited talk & text for £9.00 per month after £20 cashback. This offer was for a 4g signal which I never got. I was using a Samsung note 4 then borrowed my mates iClone 6. Both showed only 2g and slow 3g internet signals. I argued my case with both the Voda store staff in Keighley and then later in Doncaster. I explained after checking all info via Google that Vodafone sims were not properly provisioned for use with 4g. Im not joking - one staff member rolled their eyes and said to me that if I already knew the answers then why did I come to them?!
Buy Vodafone at your own risk and peril. VERY POOR SERVICE.. No 4g signal and dubious cash back offers with previous customer complaints and huge fines to boot! - Voda are not what they used to be. Three network are SUPERIOR in every way!

No I understand that, I have worked for a few organisations where you can get it including a government body. I just think it is poor show well paid public servants get discounts with staff ID/emails, whilst the the rest of the UK esp the poorest are paying full price to subsidise them, twice if you are on a taxable wage - before and after. I have no problem business to business doing such but DWP, HMRC, NHS etc etc is not a business, it is a public body so I say it is a poor show.
It also may influence buying power professionally in public service, and we all pay for wages, pensions, supplies and telecommunication bills of gov bodies - every bill in public service is paid for by the electorate, a 'perk' should not be external (esp when the public pensions are corporate busting beating)

They do it because the business themselves pay an absolute fortune for business contracts compared to what you'd pay for a consumer tariff. Most of them don't come with inclusive minutes and will have 1GB/2GB of data for which they'll command obscene money.

I had to go to the CEO office to cancel a data sim recently, letter or calling customer service was fruitless - no reply. Even heard staff several swearing at a customer collecting my sim from store, granted the customer used the F word in conversation first but there was no need for two out of three staff present to tell the customer 'you fuc* off' back when shouting (?) to the older man to leave the store.
There were two customers in store, I was one of them and the only staff member not swearing was the one serving me, I doubt they would have spoken to a white person with english as a first language (like me) like that. For the record one of the F bomb staff and loudest shouting was the manager, who squirmed after the customer left and apologised to me. Obviously it was shocking behaviour, even taking out the fact I am ex retail higher management, poor, poor, poor, I could have lived without 4G and patchy 3G at home but supporting a company with DIRECT EMPLOYEES like that and horrendous third party customer care contact I voted with my feet.

All the phone companies do this. I work for a large bank and we get 30% off O2 contracts. The companies promote it to their employees as a benefit of working for the company. Presumably the mobile companies don't charge their big customers anything for employee discount as otherwise there is no way my employer would offer it!

Great deal! I pay £18.50 per month for the same as the £17.50 deal... Vodafone's 4G coverage in Europe is great! I've used it in several European countries in the last 6 months and it's excellent, fast and not throttled at all unlike Three's. I got £90 cashback for my contract when I signed up - so check on TCB for any potential cashback before signing!

I got £60 from Quidco even after I cancelled my deal within 14 days last year.. that was a pleasant surprise (just make sure you do it properly, clear cache etc).
Anyway, I cancelled as Three offered a better deal back then. Three still have not provided me a 4G signal at home although their coverage map says I should have it so I am looking to leave to either Vodafone or EE soon.

What chance of Quidco paying out if VEA discount is also applied?
Ordered a SIMO (£13.50 for 6, £27 for 6) last night from their 'sale' on the basis that Quidco paying brings it down to £14.83 PM. I would need the package with Spotify but with £60 Quidco that brings the monthly spend down to only £12.50 PM.
The Quidco makes a big difference, but wondered if anybody got paid it from the previous 2 times this has been run?

Every business has to try and make a profit, so if one customer pays less then another has to pay more otherwise the company will be out of business - more complex than that of course, but that's how supermarkets can offer what are known as loss leaders.
You are quite correct that they can discount whoever they like, sadly it's us the normal punters who don't bother with much 'ethical shopping' i.e. if we didn't like this selective discount stuff then we ought to boycott Vodafone..... but that won't happen.
The nearest thing recently was the lego and Daily Mail carry on - and of course all these protestors here in the UK complaining about the president of the usa actually doing what he said he would before the election (don't remember Mr Anthony Liar promising to invade half the world before our elections a few years ago).
Can you imagine if we all practised some form of shopping based on our beliefs for example not buying goods made in China, Korea etc if we disagree with domestic pets being horrifically killed for food.......... would we be happy to lose all our pound shops as a result ?

Find out if your company is on the list
Get the contract either online, instore, over the phone
Once the it has connected (if you are porting you number you need to wait until your number has ported over) you fill in the form online, or go instore and it gets checked and the discount gets applied and backdated to the beginning of the contract.

The discount is given to employees of large companies or institutions that use Vodafone as their service provider or as part of a company incentive scheme where companies offer discounts to each others employees to incentivise them to use their service. Nobody is subsidising anyone else.

Or should I just try Quidco and hope for the best....
. everything is all in the power of negotiation.
Some will pay more
Applied for the 25GB bundle directly through Vodafone for £25 per month.
I'm paying just over 12 quid for the same deal and receive cashback every 2/3 months
I have 60 days to claim my cash back and you just sign into your voda account download the bill and attach the file on e2saves and receive a cheque within a week or two

Doubt they will pay the cashback seeing as I got the 30% as well.
( had to switch cos theyre so bad)
Unless I'm missing something this seems pricy? Or are people getting this deal at half price via retentions? I'd definitely go for that, even though 5Gb is more than enough data for me.
On the hand, I might not get any cashback and only the VEA, in which case it would of been a waste of time.
i already have a contract with 25% loyalty discount, so this is a new number. Any ideas ??

Quidco tracked @ £70 as well so fingers crossed that gets paid out too.
PAC code from Three has been received (had to say about 10 times that I wasn't interested in their offers before they would let me cancel!)
Will keep an eye out on if I need to reapply the VEA code once my number has been ported.
25GB bundle: unlimited calls/texts, entertainment pack. Some credit automatically applied to my first bill and monthly discount applied making it £12.92/month for the next 13 months (13 as last month of existing contract is being reduced). No need for VEA or any other cashback claiming which i wouldn't have minded doing but of course, prefer not to have to.
Had just followed the link initially! Ah well think I'll just stick to my 4gb plan for £10.80! Thanks for pointing this out again for me.
Would anybody do me a favor and let me use their work VEA address to get offer. I don't know anybody who can get me the offer, my two mates have got their families the offer. Each email is allowed 5 accounts. Cheers. Pat
I can't seem to resend the code but assume the one from last year should be valid.

The best you can do is Quidco/TCB and buy it direct, then apply for the VEA discount.
That's how I got my £50 credit...
Good luck
I have a Family member that works with the NHS. Please could you give me an idea how He can request the VEA code ? Any procedure other than the online form you have to fill on vodaphone ??
Kind regards
I'm just off phone with e2save.
E2Save are doing Vodafone 20GB, 4GB Roaming, Unlimited Mins/Texts £20. £11 after Cashback.
Hope this helps somebody.

Anyway, each to their opinions, however as the complaints numbers suggest more are against them than the others.

I'm disappointed the 20GB plan doesn't have the 12 month entertainment this time, I guess since I use Netflix I should go for the 25GB plan.
John
Should I have ordered the two sims seperately and got £150 quidco or will it be £37.50 cashback tracked per sim? Sorry in advance for being such a noob :-/
Try logging out of VF, add the product to your basket and then check your basket.
£65 Quidco too.
£12.08 per month if Quidco pays, not bad for 25GB with 12 months of Spotify, hooooooooot! :sunglasses:
Ordered, went through fine! Thanks OP... now the cancel the one I ordered last week!
Tried using the code online and it worked. I was also chatting with the adviser who confirmed the £17.50 price for the deal with my code. So all is well  Thanks OP.
The 25GB plan is £37 a month normally and the £25 rate is a discounted rate. If you want to use the VEA you can get 30% off the £37 rate.

I am here to help you getting this discount.
That's from live chat
To be honest if I could get the 25gb plan for £17.50 I'd be delighted, its less than I'm laying for 12gb currently.

Im not sure if, as the offer appears to be time limited rather than discounted, if this counts as a promotion and so is not covered under the VEA. Will find out for sure tomorrow I guess
VEA is also not working form me online, but hoping this will work over the phone tomorrow.
Other tariffs removed, you can see the message:
OP you need to amend the post to remove the VEA pricing.
I've just got my VEA code and it will not let me apply it in the basket on the £25 tariff, message:
We can't give you a discount on that
The package you've just chosen isn't eligible. Choose one that is or enter a different promotional code to get your discount.
I don't think it's possible, at least from the web - no idea if CS can apply retrospectively?
Just checked and it won't let me VEA any SIMO tariff with a SALE or OFFER attached, it will work with the non-sale tariffs though.
Thanks for the heads up!
Doesn't let me discount it.
:/
I wanted the Virgin £15 deal 20gb with 5000 mins and unlimited texts.
Vodaphone offer me 22GB with unlimited mins and texts and 12month Spotify / NowTV / Sky Sports for £22.20 a month.
I said no I prefered £15 as won't use Spotify or the others. They offer 2 month free. Still £43 more than Virgin so I've ordered a Virgin Sim.
Thanks opp I've only just seen this post. I didn't know NHS staff got discount so will ring them up tomorrow and see if they can better it as I can still cancel Virgin :-)
I am In Manchester so not sure what the rest of the country get in speed
AFAIK Vodafone don't have different speeds based on different plans.
Would it just be best to speak to the retention team? I am also eligible for VEA...
Thanks OP!! Hope this deal is on for a few weeks as i'm still a few weeks away from end of contract/
John
Buy Vodafone at your own risk and peril. VERY POOR SERVICE.. No 4g signal and dubious cash back offers with previous customer complaints and huge fines to boot! - Voda are not what they used to be. Three network are SUPERIOR in every way!
It also may influence buying power professionally in public service, and we all pay for wages, pensions, supplies and telecommunication bills of gov bodies - every bill in public service is paid for by the electorate, a 'perk' should not be external (esp when the public pensions are corporate busting beating)
1) Probably do but cant divulge, but wont say "our offers change quite often pop back in a few days as there may be something different on offer"
or
2) Told at the start of shift
There were two customers in store, I was one of them and the only staff member not swearing was the one serving me, I doubt they would have spoken to a white person with english as a first language (like me) like that. For the record one of the F bomb staff and loudest shouting was the manager, who squirmed after the customer left and apologised to me. Obviously it was shocking behaviour, even taking out the fact I am ex retail higher management, poor, poor, poor, I could have lived without 4G and patchy 3G at home but supporting a company with DIRECT EMPLOYEES like that and horrendous third party customer care contact I voted with my feet.

Anyway, I cancelled as Three offered a better deal back then. Three still have not provided me a 4G signal at home although their coverage map says I should have it so I am looking to leave to either Vodafone or EE soon.
How long is this offer staying on for?
Ordered a SIMO (£13.50 for 6, £27 for 6) last night from their 'sale' on the basis that Quidco paying brings it down to £14.83 PM. I would need the package with Spotify but with £60 Quidco that brings the monthly spend down to only £12.50 PM.
The Quidco makes a big difference, but wondered if anybody got paid it from the previous 2 times this has been run?
You are quite correct that they can discount whoever they like, sadly it's us the normal punters who don't bother with much 'ethical shopping' i.e. if we didn't like this selective discount stuff then we ought to boycott Vodafone..... but that won't happen.
The nearest thing recently was the lego and Daily Mail carry on - and of course all these protestors here in the UK complaining about the president of the usa actually doing what he said he would before the election (don't remember Mr Anthony Liar promising to invade half the world before our elections a few years ago).
Can you imagine if we all practised some form of shopping based on our beliefs for example not buying goods made in China, Korea etc if we disagree with domestic pets being horrifically killed for food.......... would we be happy to lose all our pound shops as a result ?
incentivise^
Find out if your company is on the list
Get the contract either online, instore, over the phone
Once the it has connected (if you are porting you number you need to wait until your number has ported over) you fill in the form online, or go instore and it gets checked and the discount gets applied and backdated to the beginning of the contract.
(isn't 30%off £20=14.60?)
I got one from them back in August when Vodafone had a similar deal on. Works out at £10.50 a month with cashback
It starts on 1st Feb according to post
for 20GB tariff vodafone includes 4GB roaming data
