​My son bought the 1.7Tb version, xbox one S kept going back to startup screen. Suspect drive is over spec for power on spin up. Cured by using a cable I bought months ago that allows a separate power input for the drive.

Interestingly Amazon e-mailed today giving me an Estimated arrival date: February 08 2017 - February 22 2017.

I would second this. Hard drive prices have been really stagnant lately, in fact I think if anything they have gone up! I got a 3TB external 3.5" drive about 9-10 months ago for £45, admittedly refurbished but still, try getting even a refurbished one for that now, would be looking at another £20 plus easily.

2.5" drives are especially expensive too, which is annoying since more and more devices are starting to use them, like PVRs, which always used 3.5" drives in the past. You would think the increased volume of 2.5" drives being sold would drive the prices down, but it just doesn't seem to be happening, methinks they like their profits too much...

Mine arrived too. Pretty happy with it, does not get too warm at all. Must be 5400rpm, but not sure. For the price, I finally have a nice portable hard drive for my laptop. Cheers Vassy
