Thanks. Worth a punt although I suspect it might well end up like the G Skill RAM a few days ago :disappointed:

Don't see why tbh, yes its a really good price but not crazy low like they are giving it away either. Not an obvious misprice imho so if it gets cancelled i for one would be complaining...

Will be fine for xbox one. It will work with any external drive, you dont need a special gaming drive or anything...

Suspect they have mixed up the 1TB and 2TB prices.
Oh well have it ordered at Amazon and Gameseek now so hopefully at least one of them will honour it!

My son bought the 1.7Tb version, xbox one S kept going back to startup screen. Suspect drive is over spec for power on spin up. Cured by using a cable I bought months ago that allows a separate power input for the drive.

Anyone get their order dispatched from Gameseek? Mine still at "order placed"

I e-mailed Gameseek yesterday and got this response.
Hello,
We are currently awaiting on stock delivery for this item, it will be sent as soon as possible
Kind Regards
GameSeek Customer Support.
Interestingly Amazon e-mailed today giving me an Estimated arrival date: February 08 2017 - February 22 2017.
I guess I'll wait to see what order arrives first and then cancel the other.

I just received a odd message from gameseek today, odd because there was no subject and no message content whatsoever, was completely blank. As I thought it was odd I logged into my account to check on the status of my order and it shows as "refunded" with today's date by it. Suspect they meant to send out a cancellation email but screwed up somehow, will definitely be complaining, especially as it seems they are honouring some orders (at least when it comes back in) :disappointed:

I would second this. Hard drive prices have been really stagnant lately, in fact I think if anything they have gone up! I got a 3TB external 3.5" drive about 9-10 months ago for £45, admittedly refurbished but still, try getting even a refurbished one for that now, would be looking at another £20 plus easily.
2.5" drives are especially expensive too, which is annoying since more and more devices are starting to use them, like PVRs, which always used 3.5" drives in the past. You would think the increased volume of 2.5" drives being sold would drive the prices down, but it just doesn't seem to be happening, methinks they like their profits too much...
