In the world of Valkyria Chronicles, the year is 1935 E.C., and the continent of Europa has been plunged into the Second Europan War between the Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance --also known as The Empire -- and the Atlantic Federation over the precious resource Ragnite. The Empire is sweeping through the continent like an unchecked wildfire and has its eyes set on the rich Ragnite deposits of the Principality of Gallia. Although peaceful Gallia remains neutral in the conflict, its citizens will need to defend home and country against the inevitable invasion. Players follow Lieutenant Welkin Gunther and the vaunted Squad 7 of the Gallian Militia as they take on the seemingly insurmountable forces of the Empire.

Lg did produce consoles previously but they were called Goldstar then. Think the days of Sega producing a console are gone. Their name no longer has much cache and they are reduced to knocking out poor sonic games

Only played a bit. Don't know when i will go back to try complete it, but there's no way i will leave it for too long. Absolutely amazing game. Selvaria is my PSN avatar and i plan on keeping it that way. Kinda wish i had the physical copy, but i bought the digital version from the PS Store when it was on sale.

None at all in terms of graphics and content. It's more a straight port of the PC version than it is a remastering of the PS3 game

No idea when I'd actually find the time to play this, but the first review on Metacritic has me absolutely sold, argh!

I bought it for about this price on the PS3 back in the day but never touched it. I'm so tempted to buy it again because of comments like this but I know it will just gather dust again!

Its Sega title that I've never played, is it any good though? I wish Sega were more thoughtful like Nintendo and think of something like partnering with Samsung or LG and bring out a master race console again!

I haven't played it myself but I've heard it's an underrated gem. I would buy but i'm saving up for Sega's other game Yakuza 0
