I got a recertified 3tb metal portable for 55 recently. Was quite pleased.

​Wd. They had 20 percent off codes shown as expired but worked.

When my 2TB hard drive from ebuyer died they only refunded me about 60% of what i paid as my hard drive was out of stock, had to argue to get a like for like replacement, they also tried to bill me for a restocking fee when they sent me the wrong monitor and i refused delivery.

That applied to anything, not only hard drives, if I knew something cost much less in the past I will refuse to pay higher price even if that is the lowest at the time, unless I had no choice but to buy.

Pretty sure if you refuse delivery they can't charge a restocking fee under UK Law either.

You had better get used to waiting a long time for stuff to be as cheap as it used to be then.
The fall in the value of sterling has/will push most prices up and it ain't going to get back to where it was pre June 23rd anytime soon so you'd better get used to the higher prices.
