On Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City and, one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, the agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.

Will rate this as hot as it'll go if it means I can finally get a party on ps4. I've been spending hours on communities trying to increase my friends list who play this regularly and it's currently in the best state it's been in (bar a few necessary pvp tweaks of course!)

is this worth getting for the story? I have no interest in partying up with people online.

not really. Its made to be a multilayer game and requires online connectivity to play. Plus you'd really struggle on your own to complete levels and challenges.

yes at this price, I paid full price when it was released and enjoyed the story on my own. Didn't have any problems completing on my own.

There's not much story to speak of, but regardless I thoroughly enjoyed playing through by myself (mostly). It's easy enough to team up with randoms if you get stuck.

I'm not too far into it but am doing fine playing totally solo. A couple of guides I read actually suggest playing on your own as difficulty increases when you team up with people.

Nope, this game is crap. Get Doom if you're looking for an amazing single player experience. Plus you can get Doom for only £14
is this instore too as I have a gift card that needs using.

Ive found if you can stick it out til level 30 and start getting your end game gear it's no where near as rough. For the most part enemies aren't complete bullet sponges and it's quite an enjoyable challenge. You also have a little more control over difficult (Gear tiers) rather than everything scaling with your level harshly.

Do game still send out pre-owned stuff when buying from them or are they all sealed now. I had a few in the past from GAME which put me off buying from them again online.

Ordered XCOM 2 a couple of weeks ago and it was sealed - for what it's worth.

The game is not crap at all, it's improved a lot but it is a multiplayer game so yes Doom is better in that respect.

It's decent single player, but don't expect too much of a story. It's still fun on your own though. I tend to play on my own, then invariably end up teaming up with someone in the dark zone when things get tougher.
Correct comments in terms of the difficulty... the more people you have, the tougher it gets. The AI are a bit repetitive but with some of the missions, the opponents are random so... that portion is difficult to predict... i.e. round a corner too quickly and you can either nail them, or get your head kicked in..

Titanfall 2 has both a better multiplayer and single player. Though I must say that FPS wise, nothing comes close to Doom, every other campaign is less than half of its length

in the sense that co-op play is required! Its not necessary for u to play player vs player although the highest tier gear is locked behind player vs player!

I think its pretty good for what its worth though I've only got 20 hours or so play time so far. Everything I have read suggests Doom shades it for the single player experience though. I quite like the idea of dipping in and out of Co-Op so it works for me. It isn't "crap" IMHO

For £12 it's worth the risk. That's like 4 pints. I will keep your suggestions for future though. Thanks.

same price as before, still good. enjoyable gunplay and the storyline/levelling up isn't a grind at all but once you reach lv.30 the only thing to do is repeat missions to improve your number. forgiven as the game is fun to play but other than the horribly unfriendly darkzone and incursions endgame is repeating those missions.
