Also, I feel duty bound to add that Thorntons started reducing the amount of sugar in their products by adding sorbitol.
I'd prefer it if the chocolate was just less sweet but sorbitol is a laxative and may obviously cause diarrhoea. It also gives the chocolate an odd 'cool' aftertaste which some mints which contain sorbitol have - I remember that when they were first introduced in the 1980s, they were marketed as cool mints.
By the way, I spelled diarrhoea without looking it up! :stuck_out_tongue:

I was very tempted until I saw the dreaded word 'cranberry'.
They get everywhere. Even some blueberry cereal bars I bought were actually cranberries flavoured with blueberry juice.
