No you can't. The sear ones are the Morphy Richards ones. Look for 'Morphy Richards Sear and Stew Slow Cooker'. They are the ones you need. You can put the inside pot on the stove and sear the meat. Lots of other slow cookers have ceramic pots that can't be put on a stove. Hope this helps. :wink:
