Do it! Do it! Do it! Best decision you'll ever make  The Vita is fast becoming one of my favourite consoles of all time. There's a misconception that there are hardly any games, but I'm seriously struggling to keep up. There was a ton of great stuff in the January Sale (Steins;Gate, Grand Kingdom, Legend of Heroes, Root Letter, Zero Time Dilemma...).

Yeah honestly it's probably the most underrated console of this generation and it was just very poorly marketed but it has so many games that are really good especially for JRPG and visual novel enthusiasts like me.

It seems like they're not completely stopping as a couple of days ago PQube announced an Akiba's Beat limited edition exclusive to GAME:
Picked up one today, stock checker said 'low' - it was the last one.
Vita deals are all about luck.
Gal gun is available online for 11.99 anyway

Same here! :-)
Thankfully the person in there was more helpful and actually checked more than just the shelf on the shop floor and came back with one.

They rarely have stock when the stock checker says low stock, so there's zero chance when the stock checker says sorry you missed out...
Great deal for those who find one.

None in Manchester sadly. I would have been all over this...

My mate managed to grab one in Glasgow, Silverburn tonight, for £14.99. A mint copy, fully sealed and hidden in a drawer behind the till, obviously. I realise this doesn't help you (sorry!) but there are still copies out there. I got mine last week but paid £20, argh.

Yeah, it's a shame, but the Vita has become a very niche device now. Having said that, there's still a lot of developer support in Japan, and a small but loyal fanbase here in the UK. It still has some life left, I'm sure

All these price drops are great but if it reason for that is they're going to stop stocking Vita games that's kind of sad. I mean I can't really blame them, I'm surprised they even stocked Vita game up till now.

I wonder if it's worth showing them the stock tracker that specifically says the in-store price is £14.99.

I'm a fan of handhelds! I've been loving the 2ds. Just got to find a decent/cheap ps vita deal now!

I'm more likely to play on a handheld. My 2ds gets used massively compared to my xbone, because between cbbies and 'once upon a time' (or whatever else my wife likes) I don't get so much access to the TV for a long stretch. With it handheld I can play whenever! My local game are still selling the ps TV for £35 though so would save me a lot!

You know what I mean! I love VN's too!

...which probably explains all the price drops (Steins;Gate Zero, Root Letter, Valkyrie Drive...). I've had to ask for Vita games a couple of times, as they've been hiding in a drawer behind the till. I also went to grab Gal Gun the other week and it had been "recalled" just hours before. Boo.

Same here but asked my dad to nip over to one only for him to be told that they don't haven't it and Game are starting to stop stocking Vita products.

Why not get a pstv instead?

Whilst there are loads of great and cheap JRPGs on the Vita, Steins gate 0 is solely a visual novel :sunglasses:

Haha! I'm afraid not, sir. I'm up in sunny Scotland. Managed to grab a limited edition Steins;Gate Zero from GAME last week, so hoping I get lucky again.
EDIT: I'm getting confused with all the Vita deals today, haha! Hoping to grab Root Letter limited edition.

Has anyone been able to find any stock? Called two of my locals which according to stock checker had low stocks but both said none that they've got. Guessing it's completely OOS everywhere?

Two stores near me showing 'Good stock' on the checker.

With the pstv you'll have to worry about which games are compatible, it'd be more beneficial to get the vita.

Did GAME get rid of the stock checker? Sure you used to be able to see what shops had stock in. I might have a look at getting this though, really want to play through it before the anime adaptation gets released.

I'm not 100% on this, but I think you can only use the stock checker on the mobile version of the site. It's certainly working for me on my phone at the moment.
