The year is 1989. You are a man named Henry who has retreated from his messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. An especially hot, dry summer has everyone on edge. Your supervisor Delilah is available to you at all times over a small, handheld radio—your only contact with the world you've left behind. But when something strange draws you out of your lookout tower and into the forest, you’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have.
Ends 9th Jan.

Wouldn't say it's worth £9 tbh, it's a decent game but there's no depth to it and you're mostly along for the story. It can be completed in a few hours too.

It's featured in just about every "top 10 games of 2016" list for a reason imo, fantastic game, lovely change of pace and an intriguing story, I paid full price for it on launch and don't regret it at all.

Best dialogue in a video game ever imho. Slow paced but very enjoyable

Got it on PS4 for £7ish, finished in around 3 hours. Good but nothing amazing, deleted from my disk 2 days later. Honestly I'd wait for it to show up in a humble bundle or similar. Maybe worth £4-5 if you are into these sort of games

I'd say the opposite. I played through it and through it and really enjoyed it. It is easily achievable in one sitting and I found it involving and engrossing.
So horses for courses I suppose. Easily worth nine pound coins.

One of those titles where you either take the predictable/convenient Steam discount or shove it.
I'm not spending £8.99 on Firewatch no matter how many times Steam dangles it under my nose.

Owned this game for months. It's a short games, but so engrossing and beautiful! Well worth the money and anyone who enjoys a story game then I'd suggest buying it.
