[quote=pierre8081]i had the normal version of this game and saw this offer and have puchased it. There is no difference on my xbox one, can't access season passes, deathstar or any of the other additions? can only play the original game! can anyone help, the kids are gutted![/quote
Hi, have you tried selecting the game in Xbox Games & Apps (press the button on the controller with the 3 horizontal lines on it, rather than A to start), select 'manage game', and then check 'ready to install'? All the DLCs as well as a pack of unlocked weapons should be there waiting to be downloaded/installed. it's all only about 60MB in total so very quick.

The Ultimate Version gives you the base game, the season pass for the four DLC packs, you also get early access to some weapons.

I don't have any problems finding games from either the base game or the DLC packs. In the case of the DLC packs I can either start by picking a specific game mode or just go for a random game from the rotation and I will always find a match without problem. The only issue I have is the load time for the first game, but at that point I've already been match made.
That's, from my experience, is fact and not "complete bs"
Do you have links to these discussions? because I've never seen any of this mentioned by others when deals for Battlefront come up, and there's been a few in recent weeks.

Not true at all. I can never get an individual game mode to play on the dlc. You have to play a rotation of all modes for each dlc.
In addition to this the base game and each dlc are seperate games to one another.
We have had this discussion many times on hukd and to tell anyone otherwise is complete bs.
The matchmaking has never worked since the first dlc was released.
The base game works ok for picking individual game modes but not the dlc

Played this on my free EA, not my sort of game, but good price if it's yours.
I'm newish to XB1, but I bought Mad Max in Asda for a tenner and for all it's glitches, I like it.
I bought Witcher 3 goty for 15, but haven't played it yet, still busy playing the GWG I accrued on 360, but couldn't play.
Any recommendations anyone?

If you select the general multiplayer mode options from the main screen it's rarely an issue finding a game, but lately I've had problems finding games of Extraction, Battle Station and Hero Hunt. It's always possible to find a game of Blast Dropzone or Walker Assault, but there have been a number of times recently where other modes have been sparsely populated. It's a worry!

It's not quite as bad as BF1 for loading times but hey...good things come to those who wait. Well, apparently. I'm still waiting. Also, for version 1.0 video gamers, this is way faster than loading Arcadia on the Commodore 64.
Marcoos to BigBoyRoy
24 Jan 17#28
Load times get worse and worse with every single DLC/Patch. The initial load for the first game of the session can be about 5 minutes, which is shocking!
Subsequent games take a while, I tend to get in when a game is about 30-60 seconds old :disappointed:

Oh yeah, I was more thinking about them giving the DLC to everyone, not necessarily just via EA Access. It is probably pure optimism, but I've noticed what appears to be a fall off of players who have access to the DLC as matchmaking can struggle at times on those modes. Opening up the DLC to everyone would obviously help. I'm not saying it's impossible to find a game, it's just surprising to find some modes are already sparse of players. I think there is a greater need for EA to start giving away the Battlefront DLC sooner than they ever did with BF4. Hopefully it will happen before everyone loses interest.
In any case, the more people that buy this deal the better! Maybe we should start a HUKD gaming community on Xbox Live...checks Xbox Clubs...ah...there already is one setup 'Club HUKD' by someone called 'Doctor Buttocks'...it has a total of 1 members says here. Turkey, think you need to take control and set something up. Game on!

tempted by this actually, what is the DLC like though? i tried the deathstar briefly when it was free for about 2days. I usually wait for a complete edition and they are usually priced at 17.99 for a disc version. If EA were actually nice with Battlefront 2 and gave us everything day one and actually gives us certain modes back, might be worth the wait. Could we end up seeing this on CDkeys for a Fiver? well the deal is for the week so will see if i get much for my birthday

Good chat guys. Saved me from spending £18 on DLC now I know they're not all that frequented and the player numbers are low.

I can't see EA releasing the DLC for Battlefront on EA Access, why would they? It's their pricing model now for the game. Throw the base game in the vault and rejoice in sales from the DLC.
Obviously I could be wrong, but I can't see it happening anytime soon. I've never known any games DLC being given away with EA Access. And no, we can't consider Hardline (2015) and Battlefield 4 (2013) into that equation, as they were both given away to any Xbox Live members

Even had China not been on Games with Gold, it should still be seen as a double pack given that China is the worst of the three.
