1 - It got poor reviews due to its barebones state and shady business practices (full price game + $50 season pass). No single player and you would pretty much see everything there was to see in the game in around 3 hours
I just bought it for the x wing vr mission but found myself really enjoying the game

The season pass is currently £15.99 on the ps store which is honestly worth it if you want the full experience
BubaMan to Keifzzz
16 Jan 172#24
At that price, it's hard to argue - especially if you like the smaller spawn, death games :stuck_out_tongue:
I prefer large battles and having paid £40, I feel massively let down (there's only 2 large maps included in the season pass).
The base game is definitely worth a tenner - especially if you have PSVR

it's a good game, but would recommend the season pass to go with it to make it a complete game, I've had no trouble getting a game as always more than enough people online, whilst no story missions there are some offline games to play to keep you entertained

Great game, too bad I own ever other game on the market today and I don't have time to really get into it. For this price I cannot recommend it more

I like it even though I'm still rubbish at it (the FPS bits anyway, I'm actually pretty good at Fighter Squadron) despite owning it and playing it on both PS4 and XB1 (the latter via EA Access).
Well worth a tenner.

I was tempted to purchase for 24.99 with the season pass on the PSN sale .....infact I use O2 double up credits so it would only cost me £12.50 for the full game and season pass (Ultimate edition) but having owned the game when it first came out , I swiftly sold on as I found the shooting required no form of skill and accuracy unlike Battlefield 4 etc....shame really ! but great fun for those that like a arcade shooter..... enjoy !

You're missing a trick by not game-sharing too
As long as you share with a reliable friend who has the same taste in games, pairing up with O2 credit, you can end up paying just over a quarter of PSN's prices

Been this price at tesco in store for a little while now. Good game but only when the server's work, which is never, because its EA.

I've just got the season pass to go with the base game. Seems like it adds a couple of characters, a couple of weapons, and some maps. I think most of this (well the maps at least) only seem available in multi player.
Am I right in thinking that the season-pass does nothing to help with the very limited single-player options?

It adds a few missions (including a VR one) but one of the most common complaints of this game is the lack of a campaign.

Not bad - Bespin has a large map at least (and it's pretty good) but although iconic, the Death Star modes don't play very well IMO.

All versions will be on EA servers. Sony and Microsoft only provide the servers for the games they publish and not third party title's.

I bought the Ultimate Edition on XB1 for around £27 after watching Rogue One. Since Xmas Eve it's the only disc my my console that I've been playing over the last few weeks and I'm enjoying it. Always a lot of people online when playing too. Titanfall never had SP but like Battlefront, I found the online MP really good fun.

Change the DNS server settings on the PS4 to Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) - Speeds my PSN downloads up anyway

It got lost amongst all the huge FPS' last year but this is a well reviewed shooter even if you're not a fan of the film (gasp)
