Found these accidentally, while looking for other bluetooth headphones.
Temporarily out of stock, but still lets you order.
No idea if these are any good or not, but worth a go at £17. I've ordered a couple.
Bluetooth 3.0
NFC enabled
Multipoint connectivity
Noise cancellation
Compatible with Bluetooth enabled Smartphones, tablets and laptops
6 hour battery
Best thing about this is that you can connect any headphones to the bluetooth unit.
Hardly any retailers selling this now. Next cheapest is £60 on Ebay.
Did a quick search on HUKD and they've been this price or there abouts before but over a year ago at 7dayshop.
*6 hour battery life in stand-by only. 2 hours battery life in use.

According to 3x Camel this is the normal price for these headphones and they have been cheaper.

I have had a couple of pair of these, they're excellent for the price. I've noticed no problem with audio quality, although I admit I'm not an audiophile. Battery last me a full workday. Only trouble I have is I often forget to unclip them and they go through the wash. First pair didn't survive, second pair has survived twice so far...

Good point, having a wire to a phone on an armband is great for the tube. Why didn't I think of that?

I bought some of these from 7day shop for around £17 last year, I'm happy with the sound quality and connectivity.

Battery life was an issue for me after a few months. Use the august ep650, which is hands down the best value for money Bluetooth headset out there now.

I have a pair of these and absolutely love it. Good overall music experience and reasonably good battery life. Using with comply tips works even better, and can overdrive a bit without distortion ( can get some punchy bass out for a great gym session ). Have them for over a month now, no issues. Have had 4x of Jaybirds before, they all die sooner than later and battling with them for money back is not worth it. Sound quality isn't that much better.

Dunno about the quality etc. But having a Bluetooth device with removable headset is very handy. I've been using the cheap Nokia version for years.

I've had one for a few years and used it to make my HD25-IIs wireless by clipping it to the headband. Works a treat, sound isn't quite as good as a cable, but when you're listening to music off a phone it's perfectly serviceable and having no wires is great.

Apart from the wire from the headphones to the box??? Why not just get an arm band for a phone and plug headphones in there?
Bluetooth headphones that plug into a 3.5mm jack, no wonder they aren't made anymore!

I use a bluedio and avantree version (both bt4 with aptx) of this clip design and it's amazing quality, can't tell if it's wired or not. of course the other advantage is that you can choose whatever earphones /headphones you like that can be driven (impedance) etc.
I use a bt4 with aptx audio dongle in my car as well and the sounds really good and louder than the wired output from my LG phone. I have a audio preamp in my car but with the dongle it's not required.
I think the clip design whilst not the best sellers have use case and enough demand to warrant manufacturers to continue development of this type of product.
I have decent bt3 headphones and other bt3 audio devices ... and not impressed with the sound.

If you get one they are good.
I have had one for a couple of years, been great.
Lasts me a 7 1/2 hour shift at work listening to music.
Sound quality is good with different head phones (I have some betron of amazon)

Can this bluetooth device convert a normal speaker into a bluetooth speaker if attached with a 3.5mm jack?
Waldolf to paragraph
10 Jan 171#15
Yes, but you might want a speaker with a built in amp.
You can use one of these to add BT to something with a 3.5mm in.
It's a nice little speaker too.

Very good product. No as aptx but sound quality is ok for casual listening to audiobooks. Battery lasts around 6 hours. Couldn't be without mine now.

Appreciate the fact that this will work for some but personally find it a bit silly to utilise bluetooth but still have to clip something on to your shirt/shorts. I think most people would be better off with ones that have the bluetooth built in to the buds (yes they're chunkier).

I appreciate that is your preference and it's perfectly understandable. But where do you get the conclusion that most people will think the same?
As you say integrated headphones are bulky, heavy. And the headphones themselves cannot be replaced. This can be connected to anything with a headphone jack. And because the buds are small can be used in bed or when running, cycling etc

Plugged this into the aux port in my car and hey presto have a bluetooth upgrade for my car
I have a set of these and can't fault the unit itself, the headphones bud type im hit and miss with, used my apple ear phones and sounds great. Ok I used them most in the garden with ear protectors (ones for jet engines) whilst cutting grass and using petrol strimmer. and you good still here the sound great.
Used as handsfree and one ear phone in van ok.

Yup they convert anything with 3.5mm input into Bluetooth.....
Not noise cancelling though... I got one of these years ago and have never had any problems, looks good, does the job and battery lasts much much longer than 2 hours....
I wear mine on a lanyard and personally find it much easier to use than having Bluetooth buds with tiny little buttons on the earpiece or wraparound cable...
£17 gets my thumbs up!

I have one of these, and the main selling point was the fact that you could change the headphones, but still keep the wireless function. This means that you can keep your favourite pair of headphones, but now be able to listen to music wirelessly via bluetooth.
