I think people should view pillows as a disposable/ service item - not try to keep hold of them for 10-15 years - eugh! grease & hair oil, spills from love-making, not washed often enough & the hair lice move in, ooh baby

Mine should last longer than that! I only have grease from your list the rest don't exist in my bed.

Tip for pillow, use several pillow covers, at least three covers, tight cotton threading with at least 300 threads per inch, and then finish off on the top with a top quality Egyptian cotton as laying on top of pillow (not putting pillow inside). Then you have a double layer of Egyptian cotton under your head, really nice, easy to clean, just take the top layers to washing machine and wash regularly, pillow is kept ever so clean and free of smell then.

Perfect! I needed these, I'm 3ft tall and I can't see over the steering in my Suzuki swift so I need 4 pillows to sit on...

Sounds like your whole bed including yourself should be disposable.

ooh baby, im going to be sick
i think you need to change your bedding more than every 10+years so stains, spills and hair lice don't build up
and yes, i do buy the cheaper stuff so i can dispose of them probably on a yearly basis as these types of deals happen quite a lot and for the price you can't not replace
