24 Month lease 10,000 miles p/a 20,000 miles total. All prices include VAT.
£2490 initial deposit followed by 23 x £149 monthly payments so £5917 total over 24 months. Excess mileage charges are 8.4p per mile Inc VAT.
Includes free metallic paint, amundsen Sat nav and road fund licence.
The estate is available for £2490 initial deposit followed by 23 x £169 monthly payments so £6377 total over 24 months.
It's from Simpsons Skoda and they don't mention an admin fee. Which is pretty normal for dealerships as far as I know.
I know this won't be for everyone as some people don't see sense in leasing etc. For people that do consider leasing, this seems to be a good price for a good car.

My 5 series is at the end of it's current deal - where can I get a Merc for £200 a month with 10k pa mileage?
Got this before xmas with black pack and spare wheel from Simpson's. 1700 deposit and £200 per month. There is some flexibility if the deposit is too much.

Thanks for this. I've signed up for one. Apparently, stock is running low. In transit from Germany so it could be a months wait for some.

I can't tell you about how easily it scratches but if you Google it I'm sure the forums would answer that. There's no admin fee as it's direct from the dealership and tax is included for the duration.

The cheapest ever Golf R estate deal on HUKD was £6,661 and that reached nearly 1000°. How did you manage to get one for less than £5917?

It's pretty poor very thin chips and scratches very easily and there has been issues with the lacquer on the rear spoilers.
It's not the worst I have seen but the paint on my wife's £8k Vauxhall Viva is miles better....

I had a similar experience with a Honda CR-V a few years ago.
That's why it's worth it to pay for a german car, I had a Passat, the paint was incredibly resistant.

why would you lease a car? Am I missing something so you borrow a car for nearly £6k and then give it back?

If you purchased a new car you'd lose that in depreciation anyway.

Volkswagen finance will offer to sell you the car in the last 90 days. The car is £24,995 and currently worth about £16k at 2 years old. Tbh you could buy this after the 2 year lease and save a few quid over the new cost. The value might well drop a bit more as the new model is out now......

Simpsons are very helpful - if you want a lower deposit and/or differing mileage, give them a call, they'll definitely do what they can to assist.
You should also note that the Amundsen sat nav and metallic paint are standard on the vRS, so it is quite correct that they're included but don't think you're getting options for free.
Finally, as another contributor said these are no longer being built, so you're unlikely to get a wide choice of colours (I'd suggest Rallye Green!) but you hopefully shouldn't have to wait too long either.

I have the VRS great car apart from the awful paint. It's so thin and chips and scratches really easily. A couple more layers of paint was definitely needed.

It can't be as bad as the paint I seen on Hondas. Even a bunch of hard resin style waxes can't help that stuff from practically melting off when you breathe on it

Which deal are you referring to? I've looked and there definitely isn't a Mercedes 200 anything for £200 per month all in. If you're referring to the A200 CDI lease for £220 per month, that was a mis-price and they didn't honour it.

worth noting that your insurance doesnt cover your deposit, so, if you are particularly unlucky and your car is written off early into the contract then you wont see the deposit back.
Whereas if there were no deposit and the monthly repayment was higher then you would be discharged from the contract and have to pay nothing further once the insurance settled.
id a letter through the door last week from my local police station saying theives were breaking into homes and targeting car keys within half a mile of my house. My local gym had a spate of thefts last year where car keys were stolen from lockers and two cars in two days driven away from the car park and not seen again. maybe less likely for a skoda...but any other vag cars would be high up a theifs list.

That's true but if (recommended) you purchases GAP insurance for a lease car you can bolt on deposit payment protection insurance. Mine cost about an additional £30 to the GAP insurance policy over the 2 years. If the car gets stolen or written off you'll get the deposit back. If you don't take it out though you could stand to lose a big deposit.
Simpsons Skoda do say they'll adjust prices for different mileage so it's possible they'd do the same for the deposit. If they're still getting the same amount of money via a smaller deposit with higher monthly payments it shouldn't make too much difference.
I'd love to see a Mercedes 200 for £200 per month all in, that'd be £4800 over the term!

I would love to know where they are finding these cars.
Current production has stopped of the existing model (Order books were actually closed back in Nov / Dec) so these will be stock cars kicking around.
Saying that, I had the estate version of this car and loved it. The A4 Avant that has replaced it is lacking in some areas (storage, actual personality lol). Downsides are naff bits of trim, and cheapening out on some specs.
