Found this in my local Sainsbury's (WATERLOOVILLE) on their clearance shelves. Might be worth a look in your own Sainsbury's if you're going there anyway...
£6.50 seems to be the average price.

These leak! We brought one at the weekend and tested it with water. These are no good for transporting soup but would be ok if you were to take in a tin of soup and use this to heat it up.

I won one of the soup container in weight watchers I bought the same make only bigger it Asda I haven't had any trouble with leekin with either one Iv just bought another one in Weight Watchers it was on sale half price £1-50
I also bought a microwave steamer the same make I love it. no problems at all
A lot of people assume these are water tight which I why I made the comment. I don't think anyone transports soup upside down! As I said it's great if you want to use it as a microwaveable bowl!

Anyone recommend anything like this that doesn't leak at all?

When it comes to transferring liquids, I also think you're safer with a proper thermos type flask.

Not sure how this helps transfer soup without spilling to work?

Why though? They've brought out a product that is designed to help you heat up your soup without using a normal bowl (that would get ridiculously hot). If you expect it to be watertight then that's your problem!
Do you buy a jacket that isn't labelled as waterproof and expect it to keep the water out in a thunderstorm?

I have one of these and have transported and heated up soup several times and it didn't leak at all. I also have one of the b&m versions which performed OK. obviously cheaper quality, but it works.
also, I've just bought one of the soup and noodle container combos at Tesco, now reduced to £4.25 if anyone is interested. looking forward to trying some noodles at work now

Yes, these do leak! I use a bit of cling film under the lid and that stops it from covering my bag on the way to work.
Defeats the object a bit, but it is a good soup container to drink from and soup heats up thoroughly in it.
lock 'n' lock?
What do you mean? Suggestions please as i need one to carry soup to work. Did think about getting one of these but changed my mind now due to various reports of leaking.

I have a Sistema mug and they're pretty good if normally a bit pricey (mine was on "offer" for 4 quid). Home Bargains were doing a "clone" of the mug for 79p recently, so I picked one of those up too and it seems to do the job just as well as the Sistema.

These aren't marketed as being watertight or suitable for transporting, so not sure why all the "these leak!" comments.

Because people expect that from such a product, don't care about marketing legalities. Just a guess. but did I market it right?

Do not microwave any totmato product in them as it damages the lid.

They often reduced a lot these plastic food items. I had some snack boxes with drink bottles for £1.80 instead of about £6, found in Sainsbury's at Sedgefield.

Or make soup at home. Freeze it in this and then let it defrost by lunchtime. For your commute the soup would be mostly frozen so shouldn't leak much - you can put it in a bag to be safe

Can get pretty much the same thing in B + M or Home bargains at 99p each ,worth it.

Good price, although brought a non branded one for £1 Poundland does exactly same thing

the non branded ones seem to leak easier and the wee clips for steam break off easily imo

There were about 8 left at lunchtime. They were on the clearance shelves next to the medicine bits rather than the clearance shelves by the dvds... good luck!

Just a tip, check the non clearance (normal shelf) section too, as I found one for same price last week, shelf edge said £6, but scanned at 60p...that was Truro store, and they only had 1.
