To be fair, 2,000 is 10 boxes. For a tradesperson this is just normal quantity. Historically, Screwfix was mainly a trade counter before they went all consumer-friendly so naturally the trade guy will stock up at this price. I'm not in the trade and only got a couple of boxes for DIY tinkering. If I was in the trade then I would've definitely got more.
