there were loads available in Tesco extra Blackpool yesterday. Also hotel collection is available at half price both instore and online.

Not a bad deal. However, these mattress protectors are kept in place by elasticated straps at the corners. I much prefer those with proper sides you can tuck under the mattress. I would recommend Wilko's range of anti-allergy mattress protectors, which are good quality, have proper sides, and are only slightly more expensive.
