I was buying some kids clothes on the John Lewis website and wanted something to get my order over £30 for free click and collect; so I got this squirrel.
It's true.. but there are some good deals on kids clothes too. I got some trousers for the baby for £5 down from £15.. so I used this to get my order over 30.

You'd be nuts not to get a few at this price. Have squirrelled them away for when I next need presents for a little one. :sunglasses:

Red squirrels have leprosy. True story.

Just read they carry a virus which doesn't effect them, but does the reds. I wonder being a foreign species, why we can not get rid of them, and return to the natural order.

That comment has nothing to do with the post. The joke doesnt even work. Go back 2 years mate, and it might have.
Gosh, some people are just a bit slow.

Why should I pay for click & collect. Makes no sense to me. Well done John Lewis, another sale lost. Lokk forward to the next tv interview with your CEO moaning about internet eroding your margins. Smell roses & make C&C free to watch your turnover increase dumbo.

They had their out of town home store refused in Worcester and have now flounced saying they won't open a store in town. Funny company.. never undersold, but charge for click and collect.

You spend money on advertosing, create the interest, generate the sale & then almost double price of product by C&C charges whicj are a fixed cost anyway. Great way to repel customers & diminish return on any money spent building your brand. C& C must save you a fortune so why are you charging for it?

They have managed to iradicate them in some places, particularly on islands, but the effort to get rid of them in mainland England would be massive. It's illegal to release grey squirrels into the wild if you catch them.
